Today, we celebrate the birthday of our beloved founder, Fr. Aloysius Schwartz, with gratitude for a life devoted to God and to the poorest of the poor.

You dreamed of hope where there was little,
You trusted when the path was uncertain,
You served when sacrifice was required,
And you gave your life so that others could have a future.

𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐁𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐌𝐚𝐦𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐲! 💙

Today, we joyfully celebrate the birthday of our Blessed Mother, Mary, whose life continues to inspire us with her faith, humility, obedience, and unwavering trust in God.

Mary welcomed God’s will with a generous heart and remained faithful to her mission throughout her life. Her example reminds us that true greatness is found in loving God, serving others, and giving ourselves generously for a greater purpose.

May we continue to look to Mary as our model of faith and service. May she guide our students, teachers, Sisters, alumni, and the entire SMS family closer to Christ.

May Mama Mary continue to watch over our mission and intercede for all those entrusted to our care.

Today, we honor the dignity of work and the strength of every person who labors with purpose, perseverance, and hope. This day reminds us that work is not only a means to provide for our needs, but a calling to serve others with honesty, discipline, and love.

Fr. Aloysius Schwartz often reminded us that true success is found not in comfort, but in sacrifice and service for others. He showed through his life that even the simplest tasks, when offered with love, can become instruments of grace and transformation. In the work we do each day, we are given the opportunity to uplift lives, restore dignity, and bring light to those in need.

As we celebrate this day, may we be reminded to value every effort, remain committed to excellence, and use our talents not only for personal gain but for the good of others. May our work always reflect compassion, integrity, and a deep sense of purpose.

Happy Labor Day!
