POEM OF THE WEEK 📜

"BETRAYAL"
written by : Ma. Elaine D. Carniyan of STEM 12-2

I was once a jolly snark
A person who'll lit up a friendship's spark
Was told to be careful as no one is to trust
Neglects, it then all starts

A month of friendship has been very excruciating
I didn't know how could everything already be exhausting
Told myself, "maybe this wasn't the group I belong to"
It was then one day, my thoughts turns out to be true

Unpleasant words are read
By me, from those whom I trusted
Words that cannot be taken back
Nor can be fixed dread

Apprised me to never let this happen again
To not put myself into pain
I then somehow escaped that state
A state that is called, to be betrayed
