To ensure a smooth, safe, and orderly start to the new academic year, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent (ASDS) of SDO Cavite, Dr. Antonio P. Faustino Jr., personally led the monitoring and evaluation of the opening of classes at Bagong Buhay Elementary School.

Dr. Faustino was accorded a warm and enthusiastic welcome by the school community, spearheaded by School Head Ma’am Elizabeth C. Mira, alongside the school’s master teachers and faculty members.

Ang Hunyo 9 ay kinikilalang Silang Day bilang paggunita sa mahalagang yugto ng kasaysayan ng bayan kung saan tuluyang napalaya ang Silang mula sa pamamahalang kolonyal ng Espanya noong Hunyo 9, 1898.

Tatlong araw bago ang pagdedeklara ng Kalayaan ng Pilipinas noong Hunyo 12, 1898, matagumpay nang naitatag ng mga SilangueΓ±o ang lokal na pamahalaang rebolusyonaryo at naipamalas ang kanilang mahalagang ambag sa pakikibaka para sa kalayaan.

Sa pagdiriwang ng Silang Day, binibigyang-pugay natin ang katapangan, pagkakaisa, at pagmamahal sa bayan ng ating mga ninuno na naging daan upang makamit ang kalayaan at maitaguyod ang pagkakakilanlan ng ating bayan.
