LOOK | The SMEC – Student Affairs Committee gathered today at the De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde for its monthly meeting, where members aligned efforts for student welfare and shared updates on upcoming plans.

The meeting was followed by a simple Christmas get-together, an opportunity for the committee to celebrate its partnership, strengthen friendships, and look forward to a meaningful year ahead.

The committee extends its appreciation to DLS-CSB for hosting and welcoming everyone with its signature warmth and holiday cheer.

𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐞𝐝, 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 👥

Last March 5-7, 2025, the 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐚 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐮𝐦 - 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐟𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐞 have successfully hosted the 𝟖𝐭𝐡 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩 with the theme, "𝐓𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐠 𝐬𝐚 𝐏𝐚𝐠𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐬: 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐝, 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐲, 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐤𝐨𝐝," at the Monsterrat Center for Religious Formation in Silang, Cavite.

Student leaders from 𝐒𝐌𝐄𝐂 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬 engaged in meaningful discussions and activities focused on the importance of action-driven leadership based on social realities and discernment. The camp will serve as a venue for the young leaders to be grounded on current social issues and realities affecting the lives of many Filipinos, especially the poor and marginalized, develop a reflective and discerning mindset, and be moved to take meaningful actions.

More than just an event, this camp was a powerful reminder that leadership is a journey and that it starts with listening, reflecting, and taking meaningful action 💙

This 3-day camp will gather student leaders from SMEC member schools for a transformative experience centered on social awareness, reflective leadership, and action-driven service.

Let’s come together to reflect, engage, and take action for our communities. See you at camp! 💪✨

LOOK | Last February 13, 2025, the SMEC-SAC convened for a productive and collaborative meeting in preparation for the much-anticipated 8th Young Leaders Camp.

The meeting was graciously hosted by Lyceum of the Philippines University Manila, under the leadership of their Student Affairs Office (SAO) Director, Ms. Gladys Ramos.

We extend our sincerest appreciation to LPU Manila for their warm hospitality and thoughtful accommodations. We look forward to an enriching and impactful Young Leaders Camp ahead!

LOOK | Earlier today, the SMEC-SAC successfully conducted its first monthly meeting for 2025, hosted by St. Scholastica's College Manila. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Victor Vigo Jr. and to his team for their warm hospitality and accommodations, ensuring a productive and meaningful meeting.

LOOK | The members of the SMEC-SAC recently held their December meeting and Christmas gathering last December 5, 2024, hosted by De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Levi Albania, Dean of Benilde Student Life, and his team for their warm hospitality and the sumptuous meal.

LOOK | The SMEC-SAC proudly participated in the 19th Asia Pacific Student Services Association (APSSA) International Conference, held at the National University of Singapore (NUS) from November 18 to 20, 2024.
