โฑ3.8M WORTH OF โNO GRAPHIC HEALTH WARNINGSโ CI******ES INTERCEPTED IN PAMPANGA
The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), in coordination with the San Fernando City Police Station, successfully implemented a search warrant that led to the seizure of sixty (60) master cases of ci******es without required graphic health warnings, with an estimated value of โฑ3,870,000.00 inside an impounded vehicle at the Land Transportation Office (LTO) Region 3 compound in Barangay Maimpis.
The operation stemmed from a request for police assistance from LTO Region 3 after a vehicle was left unattended following an anti-colorum checkpoint activity. Acting on this, CIDG personnel secured the necessary search warrant to lawfully open and inspect the unit, which later yielded the prohibited to***co products. The activity was properly witnessed by barangay officials in the area to ensure transparency and adherence to procedure.
The operation aligns with the PNP Focused Agenda under Enhanced Managing Police Operations, reinforcing lawful enforcement actions that support public health protection and fair trade practices. This is also consistent with the administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.โs broader thrust of strengthening law enforcement and safeguarding consumers from illegal and non-compliant products.
PNP Chief Police General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr. commended the operating units, underscoring the need for consistent and disciplined enforcement.
โHindi natin dapat pinapalampas ang mga ganitong paglabag. We enforce the law not only to uphold regulations, but more importantly to safeguard the health and welfare of our people. Gagawin natin ito nang maayos, may respeto sa proseso, at laging may malasakit sa mamamayan,โ he said.
Authorities emphasized that the government continues to enforce Republic Act No. 10643, which requires graphic health warnings on to***co products as part of efforts to promote public awareness on health risks.
The PNP reiterated its commitment to consistent, lawful operations that protect consumers and uphold regulations, in support of a Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas: Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat at Nararamdaman.

CIDG JUNE OPERATIONS YIELD OVER 1,000 ARRESTS, 165 LOOSE FI****MS, โฑ605.8-M WORTH OF EVIDENCE
The Philippine National Police (PNP) reported another significant accomplishment as the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) intensified its nationwide law enforcement operations in June 2026, resulting in the arrest of 1,066 individuals, the recovery of 165 loose fi****ms, and the seizure of criminal evidence valued at more than โฑ605.8 million.
The month-long operations, carried out through 935 law enforcement activities across the country, supported the PNP's continuing efforts to keep communities safe by going after wanted persons, illegal fi****ms, and various forms of criminal activity.
These initiatives form part of the PNP Focused Agenda under Enhanced Managing Police Operations, which strengthens intelligence-driven and coordinated police actions in support of the peace and order priorities of the administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
Among the major accomplishments were the arrest of 606 wanted persons through intensified manhunt operations, including two National Most Wanted Persons with existing rewards, 109 Regional Most Wanted Persons, 141 Provincial Most Wanted Persons, and 72 City and Municipal Most Wanted Persons. Police operations also accounted for one leader and three members of a Communist Terrorist Group (CTG).
In the campaign against loose fi****ms, authorities carried out 49 search warrant operations and 42 buy-bust operations, resulting in the recovery of 156 small arms, nine light weapons, 24 explosive devices, and assorted ammunition.
At the same time, intensified operations against economic and environmental offenses led to the confiscation of counterfeit, untaxed, and substandard products, including ci******es, v**e products, food items, cooking oil, appliances, defective e-bike batteries, illegally sourced forest products, and other evidence from unlawful activities with a total estimated value of more than โฑ605.8 million.
PNP Chief Police General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr. commended the operating units for their sustained efforts in carrying out the campaign with professionalism and respect for the rule of law.
"I commend our operating units for their discipline and commitment in carrying out these operations. Every successful operation strengthens public safety and reinforces the message that the law will be enforced fairly and consistently. Hindi tayo hihinto sa pagpapaigting ng ating operasyon, but we will always do so with professionalism, accountability, and respect for the rights of every Filipino," the Chief PNP said.
The PNP remains committed to sustaining focused law enforcement operations nationwide while strengthening public trust through accountable and responsive policing, in line with the vision of Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas: Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat at Nararamdaman.
