In Photos || Safety in Action: Hoyo School Joins National School Safety Drill

September 3, 2026, Hoyo Elementary School actively participated in the National School Safety Drill, reinforcing its commitment to promoting safety, preparedness, and resilience among its learners and school personnel.

The activity began with an orientation on proper emergency procedures and the importance of staying calm, alert, and disciplined. At exactly 9:00 AM, the drill commenced, with everyone practicing the “Run and Hide” procedure. All classrooms were properly secured, with learners and personnel observing the lock and silence protocol.

Throughout the activity, Hoyo ES teachers guided and assisted all learners, ensuring that the procedures were properly followed and that everyone remained calm and organized. The drill was conducted under the guidance of our School DRRM Coordinator Ma'am Elizabeth Cabisada.

More than just a routine exercise, the activity reminded everyone that preparedness is a shared responsibility. Through continuous practice, teamwork, and awareness,Hoyo ES continues to build a safer, more prepared, and resilient school community.

🇵🇭 Hoyo Elementary School Joins Simultaneous Flag Raising Ceremony Commemorating the 10th Anniversary of the 2016 South China Sea Arbitral Award 🇵🇭

Hoyo Elementary School headed by Mrs.Catalina Candalla proudly participated in the Simultaneous Flag Raising Ceremony in commemoration of the 10th Anniversary of the 2016 South China Sea Arbitral Award, led by the National Task Force for the West Philippine Sea.

This meaningful activity highlights the significance of the landmark 2016 Arbitral Award and reaffirms the Philippine Government’s commitment to upholding the rule of law, national sovereignty, sovereign rights, jurisdiction, and lawful maritime entitlements.

Through this participation, learners, teaching and non-teaching personnel, and education stakeholders are encouraged to deepen their understanding and appreciation of the country's sovereign rights while fostering responsible citizenship, patriotism, and informed civic engagement.

Together, we stand united in promoting awareness, national pride, and love for our country.
