Ngayong Agosto 17, 2026, isinagawa ang pagdiriwang ng ikatlong linggo ng Buwan ng Wika na may temang “𝘼𝙄 𝙖𝙩 𝙋𝙖𝙜𝙥𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙥 𝙣𝙜 𝙁𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙤 𝙖𝙩 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙗𝙖𝙨𝙮𝙤𝙣 𝙣𝙜 𝙢𝙜𝙖 𝙒𝙞𝙠𝙖 𝙨𝙖 𝙋𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙨.”

Sa isinagawang talakayan sa Flag Ceremony, ipinaliwanag ni 𝗚𝗻𝗴. 𝗥𝗵𝗲𝗮 𝗞𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗢. 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗼 ang kahalagahan ng paggamit ng Artificial Intelligence (AI) bilang kasangkapan sa pagpapalaganap ng wikang Filipino, gayundin sa pagpapahalaga, pag-iingat, at pagpapanatili ng iba’t ibang katutubong wika sa ating bansa.

Sa panahon ng mabilis na pag-unlad ng teknolohiya, mahalagang gamitin ang AI nang wasto, responsable, at makabuluhan upang makatulong sa pagpapaunlad ng ating wika at mapanatili ang yaman ng kulturang Pilipino.

Wika natin, yaman natin. Teknolohiya man ay umunlad, Filipino at mga katutubong wika ay patuloy nating pahahalagahan at iingatan. 🇵🇭❤️

Alinsunod sa inanunsyo ni Gov. Abeng Remulla, suspendido ang mga klase sa lahat ng antas, pribado man o pampublikong paaralan, dahil sa masamang panahon dulot ng Typhoon Maymay.

Sa halip na face-to-face classes, ang Sabutan Elementary School ay magsasagawa ng Modular Classes. Hinihikayat ang lahat ng mag-aaral at mga magulang na maghintay sa mga learning activities at mga panuto na ibibigay ng kani-kanilang g**o sa opisyal na communication channels ng bawat klase.

Patuloy nating unahin ang ating kaligtasan. Manatili sa loob ng bahay kung hindi kinakailangang lumabas, maging alerto sa mga abiso ng lokal na pamahalaan, at ipagpatuloy ang pagkatuto sa tahanan.

Alinsunod sa opisyal na anunsyo ni Mayor Gen. Ted Carranza, suspendido ang face-to-face classes ngayong Agosto 5, 2026 dahil sa masamang lagay ng panahon.

Gayunman, upang matiyak ang tuloy-tuloy na pagkatuto ng ating mga mag-aaral, ang Sabutan Elementary School ay magsasagawa ng Online at Modular Classes.

Pinapayuhan ang lahat ng mag-aaral at magulang na makipag-ugnayan sa kani-kanilang advisers para sa mga learning activities at iba pang mahahalagang anunsyo.

Manatiling ligtas, maging alerto, at unahin ang kaligtasan ng bawat isa. 🌧️☔

📚🇵🇭 Unang Linggo ng Pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika 2026

Opisyal nang sinimulan ng Sabutan Elementary School ang pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika 2026 sa pamamagitan ng isang makabuluhang Kick-Off Program matapos ang Flag Ceremony noong Agosto 3, 2026.

Sa unang linggo ng pagdiriwang, tinalakay ni Gng. Realyn S. De Guzman ang napapanahong paksa na “Etika at Responsableng Paggamit ng Artificial Intelligence (AI).” Binigyang-diin niya ang kahalagahan ng responsable, mapanuri, at etikal na paggamit ng AI bilang makabagong kasangkapan sa pagkatuto at pang-araw-araw na pamumuhay.

Bilang pakikiisa sa selebrasyon, ang mga g**o ay buong pagmamalaking nagsuot ng Filipiniana, bilang pagpapakita ng pagmamahal sa ating kultura, kasaysayan, at pambansang pagkakakilanlan.

Nawa’y magsilbing inspirasyon ang pagdiriwang na ito upang higit pang mapahalagahan ang ating sariling wika habang responsable nating niyayakap ang makabagong teknolohiya para sa mas maunlad na edukasyon.

Nutrition Month Classroom-Based Activities

As part of the Nutrition Month Celebration with the theme, “PPAN: Together for Adequate Nutrition for All! Let Us Protect Nutrition and the Environment,” Sabutan Elementary School successfully conducted a series of classroom-based, curriculum-integrated activities that promoted healthy living, proper nutrition, hygiene, and environmental awareness.

Throughout the week, learners actively participated in meaningful and enjoyable activities related to their classroom lessons:

🎨 July 13 – Headdress Making Activity (Kindergarten to Grade 6), showcasing creativity while highlighting the importance of nutritious foods.

🍱🧼 July 15 – Learners enjoyed healthy lunches and snacks while demonstrating proper hygiene practices, such as handwashing and toothbrushing, emphasizing the value of good nutrition and personal cleanliness.

🏃🍎 July 17 – Learners participated in physical exercises and wellness activities and brought fresh fruits and vegetables, encouraging healthy eating habits and active lifestyles.

These classroom-based activities served as an engaging way to reinforce the importance of nutrition, health, and environmental stewardship while integrating learning across different subject areas.

Together, let us continue to inspire our learners to make healthy choices and become responsible stewards of both their well-being and the environment.

📰 School-Based Journalism Elimination

Sabutan Elementary School successfully conducted its School-Based Journalism Elimination on July 20–21, providing young campus journalists with an opportunity to showcase their talents in writing, communication, and critical thinking.

The activity was spearheaded by the school’s Journalism Advisers, Ms. Kimberly Mahan, Ms. Joy S. Liberato, and Mrs. Rosemar Jaurigue, who guided and facilitated the event.

On the first day, a total of 64 learners participated, while 30 learners competed on the second day. Participants came from Grades 3 to 6, demonstrating their passion, creativity, and journalistic skills across various categories.

This activity reflects the school’s commitment to nurturing future journalists by developing learners’ communication skills, creativity, and responsible journalism. Congratulations to all the participants for their enthusiasm and outstanding efforts. We wish our winners the very best as they advance to the next level of the competition!
