December 3, 2025 | The Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) attended a meeting with the Honorable Councilors and the Vice Mayor of Sibonga to discuss upcoming major initiatives focused on protecting, preserving, and improving our community.

NOVEMBER 29, 2025| The Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) and the Supreme Student Learning Government joined forces for a meaningful coastal clean-up drive. Students united with one goal in mind: to protect our shores, restore cleanliness, and promote environmental awareness within the community.

Through teamwork, responsibility, and shared purpose, the learners showed that even small actions can create a big impact. This initiative reflects their commitment to safeguarding the environment and inspiring others to do the same.

Together, we continue building a cleaner and greener future.

One of the highlights of the celebration was the 𝑺𝒄𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝑪𝒐𝒔𝒕𝒖𝒎𝒆 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒅𝒆, where participants from each grade level showcased their creativity and innovation by wearing eco-friendly gowns designed and crafted by students.

First was the Mathematician Look-Alike Contest, where the audience couldn’t help but cheer as the participants impressively brought famous mathematicians to life with their wit, confidence, and creativity. Following this was the Science and Math Quiz Bee and Quiz Bowl, where contestants showcased not only their knowledge but also their dedication, proving how much they’ve learned and grown through the years.

And this is just the beginning! More fun, challenging, and mind-stimulating activities are lined up for all Nationalistas. The YES-O (Youth for Environment in Schools Organization) of Sibonga National High School believes that a clean classroom helps make learning more enjoyable and comfortable. To strengthen this, YES-O created a Cleanliness Monitoring Sheet where our grade level representatives are assigned to check and monitor each classroom. This way, everyone is encouraged to take part in keeping our school neat and welcoming. 🌿

As motivation, the classroom that shows the most effort in staying clean will be rewarded at the right time. But beyond the prize, this is really about teamwork, discipline, and respect for our environment. With the help of our YES-O representatives, let’s work together in making Sibonga National High School a cleaner, brighter, and better place for learning. ✨

Nationalistas! 📢 Unsa ang pinaka-kilig na moment during Nutrion Month? Was it winning? Dancing? or maybe.. sharing fruits with someone special? 🙆🏼‍♀️
Either way, what a memorable month it has been!

What a ride, SNHS! Nutrition Month 2025 just wrapped up, and we’re still feeling the energy! This July was more than just a celebration, it was a movement. Packed with exciting events led by the Supreme Student Learner’s Government (SSLG), the whole month reminded us how important it is to take care of our health in fun, meaningful ways.

Hats off to all the winners and participants who showed off their talents, teamwork, and passion throughout the competitions! You made this month extra special.

For the month of July, the Sibonga National High School Youth for Environment in Schools Organization 🌿(YES-O) took another step toward creating a cleaner, greener, and healthier campus.

With a shared vision for sustainability, the dedicated officers and members of YES-O came together to enhance their beloved school garden. They spent hours planting , arranging , and cleaning every corner to make the garden more vibrant and alive.

A variety of fresh, nutritious vegetables were planted, which will not only beautify the school surroundings but also provide a source of healthy food for students, teachers, and faculty. This effort reflects YES-O’s commitment to promoting wellness, environmental awareness, and teamwork among the school community.

Through this project, the organization shows that even small actions can make a big difference in protecting and caring for our environment. Let’s all continue to support initiatives that help our school and community thrive because together, we can grow a greener future. 🌱🌟

June 16, 2025 | Every Beginning Needs a Hand to Hold

Nervous smiles. Shaky hands. Wondering what’s next.
Starting high school can feel overwhelming, but at Sibonga National High School, no freshman walks alone.

Bound by one goal, the Supreme Student Learner’s Government (SSLG), in collaboration with the Youth for Environment Organization (YES-O), extended their warmest welcome to the new batch of students during the Freshmen Welcome 2025.

To make the freshies feel seen, loved, and supported, both organizations placed handwritten motivational sticky notes on their armchairs, simple words of encouragement meant to ease anxious hearts and remind them that they belong. It may seem like a small gesture, but to a nervous freshman, it can be everything.

And to you, dear freshies,
We know how it feels to be where you are right now. We’ve felt the same nervous excitement, the same doubts, the same questions. But look at us—we made it, one step at a time. And you will too. Keep showing up. Keep growing. Don’t be afraid to ask for help. This school will not only be your classroom but also your home.

You’ve got what it takes. We believe in you. 💚

The school year has officially begun, and it comes with new beginnings, new friendships, and new opportunities to grow. In full support of the event, the Youth for Environment in School Organization (YES-O) took part in welcoming the newest members of the Sibonga National High School family during the Freshmen Welcome 2025.

With their creative and meaningful booth titled "Garden of Green Dreams,” YES-O reached out to the freshies, not just with colorful flyers and friendly conversations, but with a mission: to inspire them to love and care for the environment, starting now.

The booth symbolized more than just a garden, it reflected the idea that every student, just like a seed, has the power to grow and bloom beautifully. YES-O believes that even the smallest actions, done with consistency and heart, can lead to big changes for our planet.
