📢 CALL FOR ACCREDITATION/RECOGNITION OF STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS | AY 2026–2027

The Student Organizations and Activities Unit (SORG) officially opens the accreditation and recognition process for all student organizations intending to operate for Academic Year 2026–2027.

All existing and newly organized student organizations are reminded to submit the required documents within the prescribed period.

SUGALAW 2026 - BATCH 1 KICKED OFF!

What a way to welcome the new academic year! Earlier this morning, SUGALAW 2026 officially welcomed Batch 1, bringing together CAS, CCJE, CMG, and CMS in a celebration filled with energy, talent, and school spirit!

The morning came alive with exciting Cheers and Yells from the different colleges, an impressive Dancesport: Third Kind, and the much awaited Mr. & Ms. Sugalaw 2026.

The activity was initiated by the UASG, FLP, and Prof. Paneng Wilma Fe Vego, bringing students together in a celebration of unity, camaraderie, and UA pride.

HAPPENING NOW | The Student Organizations and Activities Unit (SORG) of the University of Antique is participating in the International Youth Day and Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 – Western Visayas Kick-Off Celebration organized by Borres Youth Leadership Institute, Inc. , currently taking place at the Passi City Arena, Passi City, Iloilo. The activity brings together youth leaders, organizations, and stakeholders across the region in celebration of youth empowerment, leadership, and meaningful participation in nation-building.

NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC

The Student Welfare Unit, in collaboration with the Student Organizations and Activities Unit, is convening a meeting on Thursday, September 25, at 4:00 PM in the New AVR, located near the CTE Department.

This meeting will primarily focus on issues pertinent to LGBT members; however, participation from the broader Kasubay Community is strongly encouraged to foster inclusivity and shared dialogue.

Attendees will be granted excusal from their respective classes starting at 4:00 PM. Regular classes will recommence immediately following the conclusion of the meeting. Students enrolled in evening courses are encouraged to attend their designated classes once the session has ended.
