A Call for Help ❤️

Our fellow BSED Mathematics student, Ivy Grace Ledason, recently experienced a heartbreaking tragedy. Due to the severe weather brought by Super Typhoon Inday, a tree fell on their home, leaving it completely destroyed.

During this difficult time, we humbly ask for your kindness and support. Any amount, no matter how small, can help Ivy and her family begin to rebuild what they have lost. If you are unable to donate, simply sharing this post and keeping them in your prayers would mean so much.

Let us come together as one community and show that no one has to face hardships alone. Your generosity and compassion can make a meaningful difference.

NEW AVR (June 9, 2026) — The final evaluation to determine the Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED) Major in Mathematics "Best Student Intern" concluded today at the Audio Visual Room (AVR). The program’s top three interns—Rohand Marc Agapay, Ara Alfaro, and Ana Mae Rojo—showcased their pedagogical skills by delivering teaching demonstrations on the topic of quadratic inequalities in one variable, which was immediately followed by a panel interview phase.

​The candidates' mathematical mastery, teaching strategies, and communication skills were stringently scrutinized by a distinguished panel of evaluators composed of Dr. Mary An Magbanua, Dr. Richelle Sanchez, and Mr. Jayron Del Rosario. With both the classroom demonstrations and interview segments officially wrapped up, the intern who performed best will be named "Best Student Intern" for BSED Mathematics.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | Students from the Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Mathematics program proudly showcased their hard work at the 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐮𝐦 (𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐂) held at the CTE Audio-Visual Room, centering on the theme: “𝘚𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘐𝘯𝘲𝘶𝘪𝘳𝘺: 𝘚𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢 𝘓𝘦𝘨𝘢𝘤𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘙𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘤𝘩 𝘪𝘯 𝘛𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘌𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯.”

Huge congratulations to these two research groups for bringing home well-deserved awards and making the entire BSED Math community so proud.

​For the study entitled " 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙈𝙤𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙀𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙎𝙚𝙡𝙛-𝙀𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙘𝙮 𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙍𝙚𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥 𝘽𝙚𝙩𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙈𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙨 𝙈𝙤𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘼𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙂𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙚 7 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨" earned the 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐛𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭 and 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 awards. The team was composed of presenters Alliah Maguad, Joelivert Regalado, and Trisha Anne Rebito, along with fellow researcher Francis Cabaya, and they were guided by their research adviser, Prof. Mae Faulin Joy H. De San Jose, MAT.

​Meanwhile, the study entitled " 𝙄𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝘾𝙤𝙙𝙚-𝙎𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙈𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙨 𝙀𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙂𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙚 8 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨", the group successfully brought home the 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐎𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 award. This research was presented by Kristelle Ann Busayong, Michelle Gumawa, and Darlene Siasat, along with fellow researchers Jodale Aguirre and Allan Jacaba Jr., under the guidance of their research adviser, Dr. Debbie Jean S. Riego.

Calculating success is one thing, but witnessing it is another. We are thrilled to celebrate our BSED Mathematics graduates who proved that when preparation meets opportunity, the results are nothing short of extraordinary.

We extend our warmest congratulations to our new Licensed Professional Teachers (LPTs) for their outstanding performance in the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers. With 40 out of 41 examinees successfully passing, we have achieved a phenomenal 98% passing rate. This achievement serves as a testament to your hard work and the rigorous preparation you underwent to reach this milestone.

As you transition into the noble profession of teaching, we are confident that you will inspire your future students and contribute significantly to the field of mathematics education. Congratulations on this well-deserved success!
