JUST IN: A Leading Container Shipping Company Selects bUgsAy Marinero Officer

Ten (10) of the best cadets from the College of Maritime Studies at the University of Antique excelled in a recent examination, marking a significant achievement for the college. Among these outstanding cadets is Mdpn. Rex Jr. M. Lumogda, the dedicated president of the bUgsAy Marinero Organization.
On June 18, 2024, the ten cadets participated in this rigorous examination, and the University of Antique distinguished itself as one of the select universities to achieve a 100% passing rate. This impressive feat underscores the universityโs commitment to providing top-tier maritime education and training.
Following their success in the examination, all ten cadets proceeded to the interview stage. Out of these, four cadets passed the interviews, showcasing their exceptional aptitude and readiness for the maritime industry. Among the successful candidates, three (3) are from the B.S. Marine Transportation program: Mdpn. Timothy James Bacho, Mdpn. Brian Angelo Doroteo, and Mdpn. Archine Reponte. Mdpn. Rex Jr. M. Lumogda stood out as the only cadet from the B.S. Marine Engineering program to pass the interview, highlighting his remarkable expertise and potential in marine engineering.
The remaining six cadets are still under deliberation by the company, and there is optimistic anticipation regarding their outcomes. Mdpn. Rex Jr. M. Lumogdaโs achievement is particularly noteworthy. His success as president of the bUgsAy Marinero Organization is not only a personal triumph but also a testament to his leadership and dedication to excellence. His accomplishments serve as an inspiration to his peers and a source of pride for the university. The University of Antiqueโs College of Maritime Studies continues to demonstrate its excellence in producing highly competent maritime professionals.
