The Business Gazette Publication (TBGP) conducted it's First General Meeting to freshly open the Academic Year 2026-2027.

The meeting kick-started by revealing it's new members and introduction of the new Editorial Board for the A.Y. 2026-2027.

TBGP's new Editor-In-Chief (EIC) Kate Nicole Elizan leads the meeting and tackle various plans and goals within it's terminology alongside Alexander Garcia, the new Associate Editor.

On September 21, 1972, the Philippines entered a period of Martial Law under President Ferdinand E. Marcos. Decades later, its history remains part of the stories, struggles, and memories of Filipinos who lived through it. The National Historical Commission of the Philippines continues to preserve materials documenting Martial Law and the struggle against dictatorship.

Today, we rememberโ€”not to live in the past, but to understand it.

Because history is more than a date in a textbook. It is the story of people whose lives were changed, voices that were silenced, rights that were challenged, and a nation that continues to carry the lessons of its past.

๐ˆ๐ง ๐๐ก๐จ๐ญ๐จ๐ฌ: Students, faculty, and staff of the Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management (BSTM) of the University of Antique Main Campus (UA) celebrated Tourism Day with the theme โ€œDigital Agenda and Artificial Intelligence to Redesign Tourismโ€ at TiripUnAn Hall on September 17-18, 2026.

This celebration highlighted the much-anticipated Mr., Ms., and Mx. Tourism 2026 pageant, where representatives wore recycled-inspired attire, with Mr. Tourism won by the 4th Year and Ms. and Mx. Tourism both from the 3rd Year.

The event also featured Tourism Got Talent, a Poster Making Contest, and a โ€œWent to the Wrong Eventโ€ themed fashion runway, showcasing the versatility, talent, and creativity of each student.

Moreover, it served as a symposium tackling important matters, including the new executive uniform and proper decorum, to enhance students' knowledge, skills, and confidence.

๐ˆ๐ง ๐๐ก๐จ๐ญ๐จ๐ฌ: Students from different colleges witnessed the ASEAN Perform featuring Echoes of Culture: The Rhythm Continues, at the paghiUsA Hall, September 17.

The preliminaries first started with an opening message by Dr. Catherine C. Viesca, Vice President for Academic Affairs and followed by the message of support from the University President, Dr. Godelyn G. Hisole.

Furthermore, the performers included: Rasa Sayang by UA Chorale, The Rambai Dance by the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), Umang Tinting by the College of Management and Governance (CMG), Robam Kuos Tralaok by the College of Teacher Education (CTE), เธ‚เธถเน‰เธ™เนƒเธˆ (UNFORGETTABLE BY NUNEW) by the College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA), Loo Krathong by the UA Chorale, Foo Foo by the College of Industrial Technology (CIT), Zapin Muara by the College of Computing and Information Sciences (CCIS), Lam Vong by the College of Maritime Sciences (CMS), Tebe Dance by the Future Leaders of the Philippines-UA Main (FLP), Creative Folkdance by the University of Antique Student Government (UASG), Ibong Kakanta-kanta by the UA Chorale, and Unity in Motion by hUblAg BPED Icons Inc. and kasUbAy Dance Troupe.

The program concluded with a community dance from all of the performers.
