๐Ÿšซ No One Should Be "Trapped Behind the Scam." ๐Ÿ’œ

Every dream deserves a safe opportunityโ€”not exploitation.

Behind every job application is a person striving for a better future, whether to pursue a career, support family, or achieve personal goals. Sadly, traffickers prey on these aspirations through fake job offers, online scams, and deceptive recruitment, putting countless lives at risk.

The NORSU-Siaton Campus Gender and Development (GAD) Office proudly joins the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) in observing the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons. We reaffirm our commitment to promoting safe migration, raising awareness on human trafficking, and empowering our students, faculty, staff, and community to recognize and prevent exploitation.

Women, girls, and other vulnerable individuals deserve opportunities that foster dignity, security, and hopeโ€”not violence, abuse, or exploitation. Through education, vigilance, and collective action, we can help build a community where everyone is protected and informed.

Let us stand together with the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW), government agencies, civil society organizations, and local communities in the fight against human trafficking. Together, we can create a future where every dream is pursued safely and every individual is free from exploitation.

Behind every job application is a dreamโ€”to earn an honest living, support loved ones, or build a better future. Yet traffickers exploit these dreams through fraudulent online job offers and scam operations that turn hope into fear.

For many women and girls, false promises of work, education, or a better life become the very means by which they are trafficked and subjected to sexual exploitation, forced labor, online exploitation, and other forms of abuse. They deserve opportunities that lead to a better futureโ€”not lives marked by violence and exploitation.

As we observe the ๐—ช๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—น๐—ฑ ๐——๐—ฎ๐˜† ๐—”๐—ด๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐—ป๐˜€๐˜ ๐—ง๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—ณ๐—ณ๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐—ธ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—ถ๐—ป ๐—ฃ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜€๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜€, our call grows stronger: let us ensure that no dream is ever used against those who simply seek a better life. Let us stand together to end all forms of human trafficking.

Together with government agencies, civil society organizations, and communities, the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) will continue working to prevent trafficking, protect survivors, and raise awareness so that no one else falls into the hands of traffickers.
