Today, we proudly celebrate 68 remarkable years of faith, excellence, unity, and tradition at Santa Lucia Academy.

Founded in 1958 by Jose Maria Puno, Santa Lucia Academy began with a vision — to build an institution dedicated to shaping young minds, strengthening character, and nurturing a community grounded in values and academic excellence. Through his leadership and vision, a foundation was laid that continues to stand strong nearly seven decades later.

For 68 years, SLA has been more than just a school. It has been a second home where friendships are formed, talents are discovered, and dreams are encouraged to grow. Our classrooms have witnessed generations of SLAnians striving for excellence, guided by dedicated teachers and supported by families who believe in the power of education.

As we celebrate our 68th Foundation Day, we honor our founder, Jose Maria Puno, whose vision started it all. We also recognize the administrators, faculty, staff, parents, alumni, and students — past and present — who have contributed to the legacy of our beloved institution. Each achievement, milestone, and shared memory has strengthened the bond that unites us as One School Family.

This celebration is not only a reflection of our proud history but also a reminder of our bright future. Together, we will continue to uphold our values, inspire one another, and carry forward the legacy of excellence that defines Santa Lucia Academy.
