Fresh from their oath-taking ceremony, the newly elected School Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA) officers gathered at the Principal’s Office for their meeting for School Year 2026–2027. Led by School Principal Mrs. Maricar L. Tagara and newly elected SPTA President Lorbert Marcuap, the meeting focused on planning projects and activities that could make a meaningful difference in the school community.

The meeting was more than just a discussion of plans. It was an opportunity for the officers to sit together, share their ideas, listen to one another, and identify the needs of the school and its learners. Each suggestion reflected their willingness to contribute their time, effort, and support to the school.

Together, the officers began crafting their action plans, identifying possible projects and activities that can support learners, teachers, and the school as a whole. Through open discussions and collaboration, they laid down their initial plans for a productive and meaningful school year.

For the newly elected SPTA officers, this gathering strengthened their commitment to serve. With their ideas, cooperation, and shared desire to help, they are ready to turn their plans into action and work hand in hand with the school community throughout SY 2026–2027.

𝐒𝐏𝐓𝐀, 𝐅𝐀𝐂𝐔𝐋𝐓𝐘 𝐂𝐋𝐔𝐁, 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐒𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐎𝐋 𝐎𝐑𝐆𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐙𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒 𝐓𝐀𝐊𝐄 𝐎𝐀𝐓𝐇 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐒𝐘 2026–2027

Following the Flag-Raising Ceremony led by the Grade 11–Academic learners, Gov. Anacleto C. Alcala National High School (GACANHS) formally welcomed its newly elected and appointed officers for School Year 2026–2027 through an oath-taking ceremony led by School Principal Mrs. Maricar L. Tagara.

The ceremony brought together the officers of various school organizations, including the School Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA), Faculty Club, Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O), Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD), School Publication – Ang Dalisdis, Youth Entrepreneurship and Cooperativism in Schools(YECS), Red Cross Youth Council (RCYC), and SinSayaw Banahaw Dance Troupe (SBDT).

During the ceremony, the newly elected officers pledged to uphold their responsibilities and serve as committed leaders and partners in promoting the welfare and development of the school community. The oath-taking also underscored the importance of integrity, accountability, teamwork, and dedication to service as they assume their respective roles for the new school year.

Following the oath-taking, newly elected SPTA President Lorbert R. Marcuap delivered a short message, expressing his commitment to work collaboratively with the school administration, teachers, parents, learners, and other stakeholders in supporting the programs and initiatives of GACANHS.

More than just a formal ceremony, the oath-taking served as a reminder that leadership is about being present, helping others, and working together. As the newly sworn officers begin their journey for SY 2026–2027, they carry with them not only new responsibilities but also the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of learners, teachers, parents, and the entire GACANHS community.

Sa bisa ng Republic Act No. 6741, opisyal na itinatakda ang Agosto 19, bilang Special Non-Working Public Holiday sa Lalawigan ng Quezon, Lalawigan ng Aurora, at Quezon City, bilang paggunita sa anibersaryo ng kapanganakan ni dating Pangulong Manuel L. Quezon.

Ang araw na ito ay pagkakataon upang alalahanin at bigyang-pugay ang kanyang mga ambag sa bayan at ang kanyang mahalagang papel sa kasaysayan ng ating bansa.

Alinsunod sa Malacañang Memorandum Circular No. 127, ang mga klase sa Gov. Anacleto C. Alcala National High School (GACANHS) ay isasailalim sa home-based learning ngayong Agosto 17, 2026, dahil sa patuloy na malakas na pag-ulan dulot ng Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

Kaugnay nito, papauwiin ang mga mag-aaral sa ganap na 12:30 ng tanghali. Hinihiling po sa mga magulang at guardian na personal na sunduin ang kanilang mga anak sa paaralan sa itinakdang oras upang matiyak ang kanilang kaligtasan.

Pinapayuhan ang lahat na manatiling alerto, mag-ingat, at ipagpatuloy ang mga gawaing pampaaralan sa pamamagitan ng itinakdang home-based learning modality.
