On December 7, the 14U basketball team of Sariaya Institute demonstrated exceptional skill, teamwork, and determination at the 2nd Gov. Angelina “Doktora Helen” D.L. Tan Basketball Developmental League, held at the STI Lucena Gymnasium. Their exemplary performance culminated in winning the championship, reflecting the athletes’ dedication, discipline, and commitment to excellence.

The institution acknowledges the invaluable support and guidance provided by Coach Sonny Arapol, Mr. Jeric R. Argete, Mr. Florencio Quitara Jr., and Mr. Jobert Zulueta, who mentored the team throughout the competition. Recognition is also extended to the parents and the school administration for their encouragement and to all participating athletes for their perseverance and sportsmanship, which contributed significantly to this success.

Sariaya Institute extends its congratulations to the 14U basketball team for this outstanding accomplishment. Their achievement exemplifies the institution’s commitment to fostering talent, teamwork, and excellence in all aspects of student development and serves as an inspiration to fellow students and future athletes!

Celebrating Excellence at the 2nd Herencia Sariaya Short Film Festival

Sariaya Institute, Inc. proudly participated for the first time in the 2nd Herencia Sariaya Short Film Festival, held at the Sariaya Complex, and earned the 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐦. This milestone showcased the talent, creativity, and dedication of our students and production team.

Sariaya Institute Excels at the Annual UPIEQ Academic Quiz Bee

On November 15, Sariaya Institute proudly participated in the annual Academic Quiz Bee hosted by the United Private Educational Institutions of Quezon, Inc. (UPIEQ) at Olinsterg College, Tiaong, Quezon. The students demonstrated exceptional knowledge, critical thinking, and teamwork, earning top honors in both the Intermediate and Senior High School categories.

In the Intermediate Science division, the team composed of Alexxia Solenn P. Magnaye (Grade 4), John G. Ebreo (Grade 5), and Lucas Cyrill A. Cuanang (Grade 6) secured 3rd place under the guidance of Coaches Lovely Joy Manongsong, Flora Sarmiento, and Judith Fajarda. In the Senior High School Science division, the team consisting of Rhyza Bianca Albuena (G11 – Mercury), Joanna Marie Cabal (G12 – Amethyst), and Scarlet Kate Manalo (G12 – Amethyst) achieved 2nd place with Coach Nica Angel Pagulayan.

The institution extends its heartfelt acknowledgment to Sir Florencio Quitara Jr. for his guidance and exemplary leadership as Best Club Adviser. On November 21, 2025, Sariaya Institute, Inc. underwent an institutional review for the GAS Programs, conducted by monitoring officials from DepEd Region IV-A (CALABARZON) in coordination with the Quezon Division Office. The review involved a comprehensive assessment of the school’s implementation processes, learner support services, and program management systems. The primary objectives of the activity were to ensure that all private schools participating in the programs adhere to the provisions stated in the relevant DepEd issuances and to verify the accuracy and legitimacy of the GAS grants. This visit is part of DepEd’s continuing effort to ensure that participating private schools uphold accountability, efficiency, and learner-centered practices.

The monitoring team was led by Chief Michael Girard Alba (Chief Education Supervisor of the Field and Technical Assistance Division - DepEd CALABARZON), together with Dr. Andrea Mabel Abrencillo, Mr. Lorenzo Ruiz Costo, Mr. Paul Clifford Marquez, Dr. Carla Jobelle Culajara, and Mrs. Maria Aleth D. Balote.

Their visit highlighted Sariaya Institute’s commitment to transparency, effective program ex*****on, and continuous improvement in delivering quality education. The team’s insights and recommendations will guide us in further enhancing the excellence of our academic and support services.

Last September 29, 2025, the Sariaya Sports Complex came alive as Sariaya Institute celebrated its annual Freshmen Day, a day filled with energy, excitement, and pride!

The event featured thrilling competitions such as the Festival Dance, the much-awaited Mr. and Ms. Freshmen, and an action-packed Basketball Game that showcased both teamwork and sportsmanship.
