In line with the Department of Education’s commitment to promoting a safe, secure, and protective learning environment, Sara Central Elementary School, with the active participation of all School Heads in the District of Sara and School DRRM Coordinators, conducted an Active Attack Orientation in partnership with the Local Government Unit (LGU) and the Philippine National Police (PNP).

The activity aimed to increase the awareness and preparedness of learners, teachers, parents , Barangay Officials and school personnel on the proper response, safety protocols, and preventive measures during possible active threat situations. Through the guidance and expertise of our partner agencies, the school community was equipped with essential knowledge on maintaining calm, ensuring safety, and responding appropriately during emergencies.

This initiative reflects the strong collaboration among DepEd, LGU, and PNP in strengthening school safety measures and ensuring the protection and well-being of every learner and personnel.

Together, we continue to build a culture of preparedness, vigilance, and shared responsibility toward safer learning spaces for all.

The spirit of excellence and sportsmanship continued as the Awarding Ceremony of the Sara Municipal Sports Meet 2026 was celebrated in every venue, recognizing the outstanding performances and achievements of our young athletes in their respective sporting events.

Conducted after each competition, the awarding ceremonies highlighted the dedication, discipline, and passion of our athletes who gave their best in every game. Each recognition represented countless hours of training, teamwork, perseverance, and commitment to excellence.

With pride and enthusiasm, the Sara Municipal Sports Meet 2026 officially opened through a meaningful and memorable Opening Program that brought together athletes, coaches, officials, parents, and guests in a celebration of unity, sportsmanship, and excellence.

The ceremony was graced by the inspiring Opening Remarks of our Public Schools District Supervisor, Sir Ricky B. Belgira, followed by uplifting messages from Municipal Mayor Hon. Jon N. Aying, Vice Mayor Hon. Ryan S. Zerrudo, and SB Member-in-Charge of Education Hon. Joseph N. Aying. We also extend our heartfelt thank you to our Keynote Speaker, Ma'am Esara Andica A. Javier, for her inspiring message shared during the program.

A proud moment of the ceremony was the Raising of the Municipal Banner, symbolizing the unity and shared aspirations of the Municipality of Sara.
The program culminated with Mayor Hon. Jon N. Aying's official declaration of the opening of the Sara Municipal Sports Meet 2026, marking the beginning of this year's competitions.

As the games commenced, may every athlete continue to compete with honor, determination, respect, and integrity.
