πΈ Safety Starts with the Signs We See Every Day! πΈ
At Improgo Primary School, we continue to strengthen a safe, healthy, and child-friendly learning environment by installing and maintaining essential health, safety, and DRRM signages throughout the school.
For our Kindergarten and Grade 1 learners, these colorful and easy-to-understand signages serve as daily reminders that help them develop safe habits from an early age. From No Smoking and No Va**ng reminders, No Burning policy signs, Electrical Hazard warnings, Emergency Box locations, evacuation routes, handwashing reminders, and other health and safety notices, every sign plays an important role in protecting our learners, teachers, and visitors.
To further promote disaster preparedness, our learners are also introduced to the proper use of Go Bags and participate in fire extinguisher orientation and drills appropriate to their age. These activities help children and parents become familiar with emergency preparedness, build confidence during emergencies, and reinforce the importance of staying calm and following safety procedures.
By teaching children to recognize and follow safety signages and participate in preparedness activities, we are nurturing responsible, safety-conscious, and disaster-ready learners. Together with our parents and stakeholders, we remain committed to creating a school where every child can learn, play, and grow in a secure and healthy environment.
Safe schools create confident learners, and every sign and every drill is a step toward a safer future. π
