Sapian National High School E-Guidance commits to help promote mental health and well-being in the Department of Education by supporting, implementing and advocating school and workplace mental health programs, campaigns and other interventions that raise awareness, improve overall wellbeing and address the social determinants of mental health.

Together, let us continue to build a Department of Education in which mental health is valued, promoted and protected, where everyone has an equal opportunity to enjoy mental health and exercise their human rights, and where everyone can access the mental health care they need.

October is National Mental Health Month!

The National Mental Health Week starts on Monday, October 10, which is also the World Mental Health Day.

The theme for this year’s observance, as announced by the Department of Health, is “Mental Health and Wellbeing for All: Promoting Mental Health in Physical and Virtual Spaces.” This month, we bring together and enjoin DepEd stakeholders to take part in ensuring the mental health and well-being of all personnel and learners both in schools and physical workspaces, and online.

SSG ELECTIONS FOR S.Y 2022-2023
Are you upright and brave enough to be a leader?
Be an SSG officer!
The following positions are now open for candidacy:
(1) President - (Grade 12 only)
(1) Vice-President - (Grade 11-12 only)
(1) Secretary
(1) Treasurer
(1) Auditor
(1) Public Information Officer
(1) Peace Officer
(2) Year Level Representatives

Important dates to remember:
> August 30-September 5, 2022 - Filling of Application - to be provided by the YOUTH Commission on Elections and Appointments (COMEA) (c/o Ma’am Agnes A. Dagaas or Ma’am Elizel A. Olandesca @ Teen Center)
> September 6, 2022 - announcement of Candidates for the SSG election. (Note: Candidates may run either with party or independent)
> September 6-12, 2022 - Campaign Period
> September 14, 2022 - Election Day (Manual Voting to be facilitated by the Commission on Election Committee Officers)
> September 19, 2022 - Proclamation and Oath taking of the school's newly-elected SSG officers. (During Flag Ceremony)

All aspiring student leaders who signify interest to run for the SSG elective positions must consider the following:
-must be bona fide learners of SAPIAN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL
- must be of good academic standing with general average of 80 and above
- must have no failing grade on previous semester/grading;
- must be of good moral character;
- must have not been subjected to any disciplinary sanctions; and
- must have submitted all completed signed application forms, to be provided and approved by the YOUTH Commission on Elections and Appointments (c/o Ma’am Agnes A. Dagaas or Ma’am Elizel A. Olandesca @ Teen’s Center)
