📢 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: MALA SALUG ES Mr. & Ms. Intramurals 2024 Coronation

Dear candidates, parents, and supporters,

We regret to inform you that the coronation event, originally scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 1pm, has been postponed. Sadly, my grandfather, my father's father, has passed away.

In light of this, the new coronation date will be Sunday, October 20, 2024 at 1pm.

We deeply appreciate your understanding and support during this difficult time. We look forward to celebrating with you all on the new date. Thank you for your patience.

I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who has already shown their incredible support.

A massive thank you to the Barangay Mala Salug Council, especially our Barangay Chairman, Honorable Jamil S. Maruhom. Your unwavering support means everything. From the moment I mentioned we were planning to have a Mr. and Ms. Intramurals, you didn’t hesitate to help, particularly with building the runway stage. Your generosity and dedication are deeply appreciated.

I also want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the BPAT of Barangay Mala Salug and every individual who contributed to the speedy completion of the stage extension. Your help has been invaluable.

To my amazing family on TikTok, my “ates” who are always there for me – Ate Janelee, Ate Divla, Ate May May, and Ate Miho – your love and support mean the world. Ate Janelee, your major sponsorship and constant encouragement are what brought this event to life. I’m so grateful for each of you!

I also want to give special thanks to my ever-supportive auntie, Ante Lye, who’s always just one call away. You never hesitate to help when I need it, and I can’t thank you enough for your continued support. To my classmate Trisha, thank you for the love and lasting friendship. And to my dear friends, Ate Shanara and Eman, your support has truly been a blessing!

A huge thanks as well to my other wonderful aunties – Ante Arbaya, Ante Marin, Ante Sophie, and Ate Aminah – for stepping in with your generosity. I know I’ve been bold in asking for help, but I’m just so grateful to have people like you who believe in this event as much as I do.

Although we’re still in the middle of everything, I’m beyond happy and grateful because, together, you’re all making this event a reality. My dream is to show that even though we come from a rural area, and our school may not be the biggest, we can still make remarkable things happen. I want our students to experience events like this and show everyone what we’re capable of. If others can do it, why not us?

Thank you all so much for your ongoing support! And just a little joke... I’m still on the lookout for more sponsors, by the way! Hehe!
