Marsman Elementary School calls the identified learners to participate in the Summer Remediation Program (SRP), a 20-day learning intervention designed to strengthen skills in Reading and Mathematics based on End-of-School-Year 2025-2026 (EOSY) results.

DepEd Davao del Norte Advocates Oral Health Month

Oral Health Month, celebrated every February, serves as a crucial reminder of the significance of oral hygiene and its direct correlation with overall health. SDO-Davao del Norte is actively promoting Oral Health Month to raise awareness about the importance of oral health among its learners. The initiative aims to educate communities about the importance of maintaining good dental practices, which can prevent various oral diseases and contribute to better general health outcomes.

The theme for this year "Pamilya, Una Kong Dentista," highlights the family’s pivotal role in developing and maintaining healthy dental habits from an early age.

The family environment is often where children first learn about the significance of oral hygiene practices, such as brushing and flossing. Parents and guardians serve as primary role models, demonstrating proper techniques and emphasizing the importance of regular dental care. By emphasizing the importance of oral hygiene within the family environment, caregivers can foster enduring habits that lead to improved overall health results.

Furthermore, promoting oral health among learners involves the provision of dental services such as fluoride applications and tooth brushing drills. In addition, the dissemination of information regarding oral health is also reinforced. By integrating these components, the Department of Education can effectively promote better oral health outcomes among learners.

Ang 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 para sa school year 2025-2026 ay nagsimula na ngayong araw January 25, 2025 hanggang February 15, 2025. Pumunta na sa inyong mga napiling paaralan upang magpalista sa inyong mga estudyante sa Kinder, Grade 1, Grade 7 ug Grade 11.

Para sa karagdagang impormasyon tungkol sa Early Registration, magkipag-ugnayan lamang sa paaralan.

𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐧 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐚 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐨𝐝𝐨𝐫𝐚 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬

Kent I. Peromingan from Marsman Elementary School won in Gawad Teodora Awards held at Citystate Asturias Hotel, Puerto Princesa City. The outstanding artist earned a recognition as a National Qualifier.

In Category 1, Sir Kent collaborated with writer Neil Edward D. Diaz to create the storybook entitled "Ang Kuya Kong One-Half." The story centers on acceptance and resilience and was chosen as a Read-ex Pick, his illustrations brought the life of a kuya (older brother) who, despite having a disability, uses his creativity to shine and inspire others.

For Category 3, Sir Kent also showcased his talent by writing and illustrating a wordless storybook entirely on his own. His great work, also selected as a Read-ex Pick. The wordless storybook, earning 3rd Place in the Reader's Choice Awards, a testament to sir Kent’s storytelling competence and artistic insight.

The Gawad Teodora Awards celebrate excellence in the world of literature, encouraging young creators to share meaningful stories. Sir Kent’s achievements highlight his passion and dedication to the masterpiece, bringing pride to Marsman Elementary School and inspiring his collegues and students.

As a National Qualifier in two categories, Sir Kent has proven his potential as a future leader and a role model in Philippine children's literature and art.
