𝗔𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗻𝗮𝗽𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗮𝗼𝗻 𝗻𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘀 𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗸𝗶𝘁𝗮 𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗴𝗮 𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝘀𝗮 𝗯𝘂𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗼 𝗻𝗮 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝗯𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘀𝘆𝗼𝗻.

Noong 1986, nanaig ang tapang kaysa takot, ang puso kaysa galit, at ang pagkakaisa kaysa pagkakahati-hati. Ipinakita ng mga Pilipino na 𝗸𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗶𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗮𝗸𝗮𝘀 𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗮𝗵𝗮𝘀—at sa mga sandaling iyon, maraming bansa ang humanga sa lakas at pagkakaisa ng sambayanang Pilipino. Tayo ang patunay na posible ang mapayapang pagbabago.

May mga tangke sa kalsada at mga sundalong may hawak na baril. Pero may mga rosaryong nakataas, mga bulaklak na iniabot, at mga tinapay na pinagsasaluhan ng mga hindi man magkakilala pero nagdamayan. May mga awit at panalangin sa gitna ng nakaambang panganib. At 𝘀𝗮 𝗸𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗮 𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗼𝘁, 𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗶 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀𝗮’𝘁 𝗶𝘀𝗮. Sa mga sandaling iyon, dama natin kung gaano kasarap maging Pilipino—kapag ang bayan ay nagkakaisa para sa kalayaan at demokrasya.

Ngayong 𝗶𝗸𝗮-𝟰𝟬 𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆𝗼 𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝗗𝗦𝗔 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, muli nating balikan ang mga aral na minsang nagbuklod sa buong bayan. 𝗛𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶 𝗶𝘁𝗼 𝗻𝗮𝗴𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗽𝗼𝘀 𝘀𝗮 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗴𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗮—𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝗗𝗦𝗔 𝗮𝘆 𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶 𝘄𝗮𝗸𝗮𝘀 𝗸𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮 𝗽𝗮 𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗹𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗸𝗯𝗮𝘆 𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻. Kaya’t isa itong panawagan at hamon na magkaisa, makilahok, at manindigan para sa tama.

𝗔𝘁 𝘀𝗮 𝗺𝗴𝗮 𝗸𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗹𝗼𝘆 𝗻𝗮 𝘁𝘂𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗴 𝗮𝘁 𝗻𝗮𝗴𝘀𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮 𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗮 𝗸𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻, 𝗻𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗸𝗶𝘁𝗮 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝗴-𝗮𝘀𝗮. 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗽𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗹𝗼𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝗸𝘂𝗸𝘂𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗮 𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗸𝗼 𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝗗𝗦𝗔.
