It is just ironic how issues of misogyny and sexualization of women spark right at the peak of Women's Month.

March may mark women’s brilliance, but the truth is clear: women’s strength, resilience, and courage deserve celebration every single day. Science proves they are emotionally powerful, biologically strong, and endlessly capable.

Let’s not confine respect, recognition, and empowerment to a single month—honor women, listen to their voices, and celebrate their achievements everyday.

And if science proves that people can change, then respect should never be too hard to learn.

Yesterday was all about celebrating curiosity and discovery at our school's Club Day – and the Science Club brought the LAB TO LIFE! 🧑‍🔬🔬

Our booth became a center of curiosity and excitement as we offered a variety of interactive activities for everyone to enjoy. From students dressing up as scientists, exploring fascinating specimens through our microscope viewing station, testing focus in the buzzer game, admiring creative scientific models on display, to experiencing a hands-on titration experiment, watching innovation in action through our robot showcase, and grabbing fun souvenirs to remember the day — making yesterday's Club Day engaging, interactive, and truly unforgettable for all.

A huge THANK YOU to every member who made this possible, to our amazing club advisers for guiding us, and to everyone who stopped by to explore the awesome world of science with us!

𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝗯𝗶𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗔𝗱𝗮 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 — 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱’𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿!👩🏻‍💻💡

December 10 marks the birth of Augusta Ada King-Noel, Countess of Lovelace (1815–1852), the brilliant English mathematician whose visionary ideas laid the foundations of modern computing. She would be 210 years old if she were alive today.

Working alongside Charles Babbage on the Analytical Engine, Ada wrote the first published algorithm intended for a machine, imagining long before her time that computers could go beyond numbers to create art, music, and more. Her foresight transformed her from a mathematician into a true technological pioneer.

Today, we celebrate Lovelace, a woman whose genius reminds us that there are more innovations beyond current inventions—and that the future of technology was shaped by a mind bold enough to dream beyond the limits of her era. 💻💫💭

This year's Regional Science and Technology Fair (RSTF) welcomes young innovators as they navigate the world of science in Sto. Tomas National High School (STNHS) — intertwining intelligence with passion. During the period of November 27-29, the campus transformed into a haven of learning and camaraderie, as students exhibited the science behind reality.

As 11 divisions gathered under one roof, Sto. Tomas National High School successfully kicked off its first-ever Regional Science and Technology Fair (RSTF) with the theme, "Harnessing the Unknown: Powering the future through Science and Innovation. Starting with a spirited parade of delegates, an energetic opening salvo from the STNHS dancers, and the symbolic cutting of the ribbon that officiallg marked the beginning of the event, each division gathered for one purpose: celebrating innovation. 💫⚗️

The day unfolded with intense showcases and collaborative exhibitions from young innovators. As the event culminated, the fair ended on a night of triumph as the official winners were announced, closing the celebration with pride, applause, and an enhanced drive for scientific excellence! ✨️

Cheers erupted across the venue as each division celebrated the honor of representing Davao Region in the upcoming National Science and Technology Fair (NSTF).
