In our commitment to bringing quality education to every Tomasian learner, the Science Department of Sto. Tomas National High School successfully conducted its first Learning Action Cell (LAC) Session for the school year.

Headed by our dedicated department leader Ma’am Jesninieta A. Dolormente and attended by our passionate science educators, the collaborative session focused on strategic planning, innovative teaching methodologies, and optimizing the delivery of science education. The team proactively addressed critical school delivery concerns and brainstormed student-centered learning strategies to ensure our classroom instructions remain engaging, responsive, and globally competitive.

By continuously sharpening our teaching tools and alignment, the STNHS Science Department moves forward together to ensure that no learner is left behind. Let's keep the formula for success alive, Tomasians! 🧪✨

Mendel was an Augustinian monk and scientist whose pea plant experiments uncovered the fundamental principles of heredity. Through years of careful observation and experimentation, he discovered how traits are passed from one generation to the next, laying the foundation for the science of genetics.

Although his work went largely unrecognized during his lifetime, Mendel's discoveries later revolutionized biology and continue to shape modern research in medicine, agriculture, and biotechnology.
