On June 8, 2026, the Santo Tomas Technological International School (STTIS) celebrated a significant milestone with the graduation of its first and second batches of scholars from the Early Childhood Care and Development Services (ECCDS) NC III program. The pioneer graduates were composed of public servants and child development workers from LGU Santo Tomas and LGU Delfin Albano.

As one of the first institutions to implement the ECCDS NC III program, STTIS spearheaded specialized competency training designed to strengthen early childhood education services across the province.

The commencement exercises were attended by TESDA Isabela Provincial Director Vilma C. Cabrera, Santo Tomas Mayor Leandro Antonio Talaue, and Delfin Albano Mayor Thomas A. Pua Jr. reflecting the strong partnership between TESDA and the local government units.

TESDA Region II Regional Director, Ashary A. Banto, who served as guest speaker, commended the graduates for successfully completing the program and emphasized their important role in shaping the development and future of young children.

Director Banto also encouraged them to carry their National Certificates with pride, remain adaptable to changing educational demands, and continue serving their communities.

The ECCDS NC III qualification equips child development workers with competencies in child growth, nutrition, and early learning methodologies for children aged zero to five.

The successful graduation of these pioneer batches reflects STTIS's continuing commitment to delivering quality technical-vocational education and supporting workforce development and social growth in Isabela.
