On July 14, 2026, at around 3:30 in the afternoon, the STNHS Grade 10 Eco-Warriors once again gathered at the school's Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) for their 2nd Clean-Up Drive. With teamwork and determination, they cleaned the area, arranged and organized materials, and properly segregated sacks of recyclable and residual waste, ensuring that the MRF remained clean, orderly, and ready for future use.

Every clean-up, no matter how simple, is another step toward protecting our environment and promoting responsible waste management within the school community.

To our dedicated YES-O Eco-Warriors, thank you for your unwavering commitment, hard work, and cooperation. Your efforts continue to make a positive impact and inspire others to care for our environment. Together, we are building a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable STNHS! 💚♻️

On July 6, 2026, at around 7:00 AM, the newly elected STNHS YES-O JHS and SHS Executive Committee Officers officially took their oath of office during the school's Flag Raising Ceremony.

The oath-taking symbolized their commitment to serve the organization with integrity, responsibility, and dedication while promoting environmental awareness and sustainable practices within the school community.

On July 2, 2026, at around 7:00 in the morning, the STNHS YES-O Eco-Warriors, together with student volunteers, gathered at the STNHS Oval for a regular campus clean-up activity. Working hand in hand, they collected plastic and paper litters in the campus, helping maintain the cleanliness, safety, and beauty of our school environment.

The Sto. Tomas National High School – Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (STNHS YES-O) warmly welcomes both new and returning students to join our growing community for School Year 2026–2027.

Whether you are renewing your commitment to environmental stewardship or taking your first step as an Eco-Warrior, we invite you to become part of an organization dedicated to promoting environmental awareness, leadership, volunteerism, and meaningful action toward a greener and more sustainable future.

In accordance with DepEd Order No. 73, s. 2003, particularly Article IV, Section 2 of the YES-O Constitution, ALL students are REQUIRED to submit a duly accomplished application form to officially become bona fide members of the organization.

All information collected through the application form is protected under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and will be used solely for documentation and statistical purposes.

For Returning Members (S.Y. 2025–2026):
📌 Membership renewal is open from July 5 to August 1, 2026. Returning members who fail to renew their membership by the deadline will be removed from the official membership roster. They may still reapply, but approval will be subject to evaluation.

For New Applicants:
📌 Applications are open year-round, from July 5, 2026, to April 8, 2027.

On June 4-5, 2026, the STNHS YES-O Eco-Warriors together with student volunteers gathered at the STNHS Science Park as part of Brigada Eskwela. The team worked hand in hand in cleaning the area, including weeding the grass, sweeping pathways, and collecting waste to help restore the beauty and order of the park.

What started as a simple clean-up became a meaningful act of responsibility and care for our shared environment.

Today marks the beginning of Philippine Environment Month, celebrated every June under Proclamation No. 237, s. 1988, encouraging environmental awareness, conservation, and sustainable practices among Filipinos. This annual observance shows the importance of protecting our natural resources and encourages everyone to take part in caring for our environment for present and future generations.

As YES-O Eco-Warriors, let us continue to be responsible stewards of nature through simple yet meaningful actions that help preserve and protect our planet.
