Sa inyong kaarawan, taos-puso po naming ipinapaabot ang aming pinakamainit na pagbati at pasasalamat sa inyong walang sawang paglilingkod sa ating bayan. Ang inyong matapat na pamumuno, matibay na prinsipyo, at malasakit sa kapakanan ng mamamayan ay patuloy na nagbibigay inspirasyon sa amin na makiisa sa pagsusulong ng kaunlaran, kapayapaan, at mabuting pamamahala.

Bilang Vice Mayor at isang lingkod-bayan, ipinapakita ninyo ang tunay na diwa ng serbisyo—may integridad, may malasakit, at may malinaw na layunin para sa ikabubuti ng lahat. Month with Colorful Cultural Attire Parade

August 2025
In celebration of ASEAN Month, Dungao Integrated School proudly showcased the rich cultural diversity of Southeast Asia through a vibrant ASEAN Attire Day on August 3, 2025, with students and faculty donning traditional clothing representing the ten ASEAN member countries.

The event, held at the school grounds, was a colorful display of unity in diversity. Learners from all grade levels participated enthusiastically, wearing traditional attire such as the Barong Tagalog and Maria Clara from the Philippines, Ao Dai from Vietnam, Kebaya from Indonesia and Malaysia, and other distinct garments from Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, Brunei, Cambodia, and Singapore.

A short program was held to highlight the significance of ASEAN and to promote cultural appreciation among the youth. Selected students gave brief presentations about each country’s traditional wear, history, and values. The program was led by Joy A. Dannug the school’s Social Studies Coordinator, who emphasized the importance of understanding and respecting the cultures of our neighboring countries.

“This celebration is a reminder that although we come from different cultures, we are bound by unity and shared goals as ASEAN members,” said Dr. Piñera the School Principal

The school’s participation is part of its ongoing effort to integrate global awareness and regional identity in its curriculum, in support of the Department of Education’s initiative to celebrate ASEAN Month every August.
