ULSHS holds first HSA general assembly, card distribution for SY 2026-2027

September 26, 2026 — The University of La Salette, Incorporated High School (ULSHS) gathers parents and guardians at the Junior High School (JHS) campus for its first Home and School Association (HSA) Assembly and first-term report card distribution of school year 2026–2027, with discussions on the new curriculum and grading system.

The program commenced with an opening prayer, the singing of the national anthem, and opening remarks by the JHS Assistant to the Principal Darwin Graganta.

In Graganta’s opening remarks, he acknowledged the complexities in teaching students today, emphasizing that the school and homes should be in a partnership in raising the children.

“The school provides academic guidance, moral formation, and emotional security that anchors the child’s soul; while the home provides the rules, the unconditional love, and the daily values, and emotional security. When these two pillars work hand-in-hand, they create an unbreakable foundation,” he said.

The program progressed through the introduction of the faculty, staff, and HSA officers, and then the recognition of Salettinians’ awards and participation in various competitions this school year.

Additionally, School Principal Priscila Ilagan highlighted ongoing concerns surrounding bullying, mental health, and school violence, urging parents to adapt their parenting approaches to meet their children’s needs.

“Dapat tayong mga magulang, magkaroon pa rin ng bagong pananaw at bagong style ng pagiging magulang—yung parenting,” she advised.

Furthermore, ULSHS will spearhead a mental health seminar that will take place in the second week of October.

Parents were then led to the respective rooms of their children after the assembly for the report card distribution and discussion of the new curriculum, grading transmutation, academic excellence awards, and other concerns.

THE COSMIC CLASH HAS REACHED ITS FINAL CHAPTER.

After days of passion, teamwork, creativity, and Salettinian pride, the 75th Founding Anniversary celebration has officially come to a close.

The Four Forces of the Universe showcased their dedication, talent, and unity as they competed across various events, filling the celebration with excitement, energy, and memorable moments.

Congratulations to Green Nexus for emerging as the overall champion, and to all teams for embodying the true spirit of camaraderie, excellence, and Salettinian pride.

Beyond the rankings and victories, this celebration reminds us that every effort, performance, and moment of participation contributed to a meaningful and unforgettable Diamond Jubilee celebration.

Today, September 19, we remember the gentle presence of Our Lady of La Salette and the timeless call she entrusted to her children—a call to turn our hearts back to God, strengthen our faith, and seek reconciliation. Her message continues to echo through generations, reminding us that sincere prayer and conversion can renew not only the heart but also the community.

As one Salettinian family, we joyfully commemorate the 180th year of this blessed encounter, carrying Mary’s enduring message of faith, reconciliation, and hope in both our devotion and the way we live and serve others. Through the Holy Mass and our acts of devotion, we gathered in gratitude to honor Our Lady of La Salette and reflect on the significance of her message in our journey of faith. As we celebrate this meaningful occasion, may the grace of this day remain with us and inspire us to live out her call through 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫, 𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞, and 𝐳𝐞𝐚𝐥.

Due to the opening of an additional claiming booth at ULS College, we adjusted the schedule to help accommodate runners and minimize waiting time at the Robinsons Place Santiago booth.

As the universe twirls around its rings, the forces collide to bring the best out of all the galaxies. Within these forces comes those who represent their own— however, it is not simply just a mere place to take the title of "Mr. and Ms. ULSHS" in the Salettinian Universe. The title holds the ideal model, the representation, and the embodiment of Salettinian students.

With the graceful help of The Council, the decision for who will wear the crown lays upon their hands. The appointed judges not only look at the capabilities outside, instead— dig deeper to determine if they truly possess the title.

The University of La Salette, Inc. High School invites everyone to the Grand Parade and Motorcade on September 17, 2026, as we celebrate the institution's 75th Founding Anniversary and 180th Apparition Anniversary of Our Lady of La Salette.

As we celebrate the 75th Founding Anniversary of the University of La Salette, Inc., the ULSHS – First Aiders Club is ready to serve and keep our Salettinian community safe throughout the festivities! 🩺⛑️

📍 OFFICIAL PARADE ROUTE & FIRST AID STATIONS
Our designated First Aiders Club stations are strategically positioned along the parade route:

🩹 Station 1 — Pilotin Law Office
🩹 Station 2 — Near St. James
🩹 Station 3 — Old De Vera Hospital
🩹 Station 4 — Near Northeastern College

These stations will serve as designated points for basic first aid assistance, health monitoring, and immediate response should anyone need medical attention during the parade.

🩺 HEALTH & SAFETY REMINDERS

Before hitting the parade route, Salettinians, please remember to:

💧 Stay hydrated — Drink plenty of water, especially under the heat.
🍽️ Eat before the parade — Avoid participating on an empty stomach.
👟 Wear comfortable footwear — You may be walking or standing for an extended period.
🚑 Seek help immediately — Approach the nearest First Aiders Club station or event personnel if you need assistance.
👥 Stay with your group — Keep track of your classmates and companions throughout the parade.
