Through the ASEAN Parade, we celebrate the rich cultures and traditions that make our region unique while recognizing the shared aspirations that unite us as one community.

Anchored on this year’s theme, “Navigating Our Future, Together,” may we continue to build a future rooted in understanding, inclusivity, collaboration, and mutual respect. Let us embrace our differences, strengthen our connections, and move forward together toward a more united and resilient ASEAN Community.

La Patria College extends its heartfelt appreciation to Ma’am Ariane Navalta, Ma’am Ma. Paula Basteng, and Ma’am Jenny May Tumabang for spearheading this meaningful celebration and for making the ASEAN Parade a vibrant expression of cultural appreciation, unity, and regional solidarity.

First day of pre-service teachers in their Field Study 1 and 2 at Cabulay High School (CHS), Santiago City.

The experiential course is a year-long engagement that supports authentic experiential learning from field study to actual classroom immersion of the prospective teachers. It begins with field study experiences through (a) observation, (b) participation, and will progress to (c) teaching assistantship and (d) guided mentored classroom teaching. The PPST domains shall be used as guideposts in developing the content, pedagogy, and implementation of the course.

Furthermore, it aims to strengthen the implementation of the local internship through collaborative efforts between the academe and industry linkages of the school and partner establishments. It also aims to train student interns under actual workplace conditions and instill in them the right work attitude, ethics, and values.

This August, our 19 Bachelor of Secondary Education students will begin their journey as pre-service teachers at Cabulay High School.

They will be deployed for:
📘 Field Study 1 – Actual Observations in the Teaching-Learning School Environment
📗 Field Study 2 – Participation and Teaching Assistantship
