BEYOND THE CLASSROOM: EMPOWERING FUTURE ENTREPRENEURS THROUGH ACCOUNTING ESSENTIALS 📚📊

"Learning goes beyond the four corners of the classroom when knowledge is shared with purpose."

The Senior High School students under the Business and Entrepreneurship Strand of Santiago City National High School successfully participated in an Extension Program dedicated to mastering the fundamentals of accounting.

Led by resource speaker Sir Niño Cedrick J. Bitana, the session provided an insightful dive into the Introduction to Accounting as well as its core Concepts and Principles. To bridge theory and real-world application, students engaged in an interactive practice activity that turned core lessons into dynamic learning experiences.

The program was formally opened with warm welcome remarks from Ma'am Lourgeline Khay V. Momo, LPT., MaEd., Lead Adviser of the CABAMA Department, followed by an uplifting inspirational message from Sir Joy B. Concepcion. To express the students' appreciation, Grade 12 Chairperson Katewin Mae H. Acdal delivered a message of gratitude. The gathering was further energized by a lively intermission performance by one of the Business and Entrepreneurship students.

More than introducing financial concepts, this initiative empowered our young learners with practical skills, critical thinking, and confidence—reinforcing accounting as a true cornerstone of business and entrepreneurship.
