SINO KA NGAYON?

Sino ka kapag nawala ang pribilehiyong bumabalot sa 'yo?
Sino ka kapag nagising ka sa isang tanong na walang sagot?
Kapag ang mundo sa paligid mo ay tila may lihim na tinatago?
At kapag ang katahimikan ay may sariling kwento?
Paano kung mas madali ang manatiling bulag kaysa mamulat?
Kapag gumuho ang lahat ng ilusyon at napilitan kang pumili ng panig… Sino Ka Ngayon?

Ang "Sino Ka Ngayon?" ay isang paglalakbay mula sa pagiging manhid tungo sa pagiging mulat. Isa itong kwento ng paggising, pananagutan, at pagwasak sa mga kasinungalingang minana natin. Sapagkat ang pagkatao ay hindi nasusukat sa estado sa buhay, kundi sa panig na pinipili natin sa harap ng kawalan ng katarungan. Kapag gumuho ang ilusyon ng tagumpay, iisang tanong ang matitira: Sino ka ngayon?

We celebrate the 𝐅𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 of the 𝐁𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐕𝐢𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐲 on 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟖 each year, nine months before the Feast of Nativity. This celebration honors the belief that Mary, from the very moment of her conception, was preserved free from original sin, prepared by God to become the Mother of Jesus Christ.

As a holy day of obligation in many places, Catholics gather to honor Mary and reflect on her “yes” to God and her role in the story of salvation.
