Kristoff secured First Place (Secondary 1) at the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Mathematical Olympiad (Big Bay Bei 2025), showcasing exceptional brilliance, analytical excellence, and unwavering dedication to the field of Mathematics. In addition, he earned the Silver Medal (Secondary 1) at the Thailand International Math Olympiad – Final Round, further proving his remarkable talent and perseverance on the international stage.

These prestigious accomplishments reflect not only Kristoff’s hard work and determination but also the steadfast support of his mentors, family, and the entire ULSHS community. His success brings great honor to our school and serves as an inspiration to fellow students to strive for excellence and pursue their passions with confidence and commitment.

Did you know the Cartesian plane is like a map for math? 🗺️ It uses two number lines—the x-axis (left to right) and y-axis (up and down)—that cross at a point called the origin (0,0). Every point you see on a graph has an exact address, making it easier to visualize equations and real-world data.

Fun fact: the plane is divided into four quadrants, and each one has its own sign rules for coordinates. This simple grid, invented by René Descartes, is the reason we can graph lines, curves, and even video game movements with precision. Math with coordinates? Organized and powerful. 📊✨
