Rizal National High School was once again honored to welcome Mr. Justine Baker of Canada on his second visit to the school, as he personally witnessed the progress of the perimeter fence project he generously supported through the donation of construction materials and labor costs.
The project, now steadily nearing completion, will provide greater security, safety, and protection for our learners at the Senior High School Area.
His visit also marked the formal signing of the Deed of Donation and Deed of Acceptance, making this meaningful partnership official and further reflecting his generosity and commitment to the school community.
Thank you, Mr. Justine Baker, for your generosity, trust, and continued support. Your kindness is helping us build not just a fence, but a safer and more secure learning environment for every Rizalian. ๐๐ซ

RNHS Visual Screening, Isinagawa; mga Mag-aaral na Nangangailangan ng Corrective Lenses, Tinukoy
Nagsagawa ngayong araw ang Rizal National High School ng visual screening para sa mga piling mag-aaral sa DABARKADS upang matukoy ang mga may posibleng suliranin sa paningin at nangangailangan ng karagdagang eye care management, kabilang ang paggamit ng corrective lenses.
Isinagawa ang aktibidad sa pangunguna ni Dr. Eloisa L. Dizon, PhD, Punong G**o IV, katuwang si Gng. Hannah Joy T. Ramac, RN, Nurse II at OKD Coordinator, at sa koordinasyon ni Gng. Helen P. Cabreros, Head Teacher IV.
Katuwang ng paaralan sa isinagawang pagsusuri ang mga Barangay Health Workers, City Health Office, at mga kinatawan ng Integrated Philippine Association of Optometrists.
Kabilang sa isinagawa ang visual acuity screening at refraction eye examination para sa mga mag-aaral na nakapasa sa paunang pagsusuri.
Batay sa resulta ng pagsusuri, tinukoy ang mga mag-aaral na nangangailangan ng karagdagang pangangalaga sa paningin at posibleng pagkakaloob ng corrective lenses.
Isinagawa ang aktibidad bilang bahagi ng paggunita sa Sight Saving Month 2026, alinsunod sa Division Memorandum No. 258, s. 2026, na naglalayong isulong ang mga gawaing may kaugnayan sa visual screening sa mga paaralan.
Inayos ang paglahok ng mga mag-aaral sa pamamagitan ng batch system upang maisagawa ang screening habang pinananatili ang minimal na pagkaantala sa kanilang regular na klase.

A DAY OF PARTNERSHIP, SERVICE, AND GRATITUDE AT RIZAL NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL ๐
Today was a meaningful and productive day for our school as we welcomed partners and benefactors who continue to support the safety, security, and welfare of our learners.
๐น Strengthening School Safety
The Santiago City Police Office โ City Mobile Force Company (SCPO-CMFC) headed by PLTCOL. Jayson M. Baldos conducted a coordination meeting and site visit in preparation for the Nationwide Simultaneous School Safety Drill for Active Attack Incidents on September 3. The activity strengthens our inter-agency coordination and ensures that our school is prepared to respond appropriately to possible emergencies.
๐น Building a Safer School through Generosity
We also visited the ongoing perimeter fence construction at our Senior High School area, made possible through the generous donation of materials and labor costs by our benefactor, Mr. Justine Baker, a Canadian donor. The day also marked the actual signing of the Deed of Donation and Deed of Acceptance, formalizing this meaningful partnership for the safety and protection of our learners.

Adding to the dayโs blessings was the medical mission of our group of doctors and medical team headed by Dra. Rosalie Chua Blanza who provided free eye check-ups and eyeglasses to our students. This meaningful service was sponsored by KAISAKA and the City Government of Santiago under the leadership of Hon. Mayor Sheena Tan.
Three meaningful activities, one shared commitment: to provide our learners with a safer, healthier, and better learning environment.

STRENGTHENING SCHOOL SAFETY THROUGH PARTNERSHIP ๐ค
This morning, the Santiago City Police Office โ City Mobile Force Company (SCPO-CMFC) conducted a coordination meeting and ocular visit to the Senior High School site of Rizal National High School, the identified venue for the upcoming Nationwide Simultaneous School Safety Drill for Active Attack Incidents on September 3, 2026.
The coordination focused on strengthening inter-agency collaboration, clarifying response protocols, and ensuring that the school is well-prepared for the safe and orderly conduct of the drill.
Our sincere appreciation to the SCPO-CMFC for their proactive support and continued partnership in keeping our learners and school community safe. ๐

HONORING EXCELLENCE AND INTEGRITY
Rizal National High School through the leadership of Dr. Eloisa L. Dizon, Principal IV, honored student achievements and promoted core values of integrity and honesty as the academe conduct its early flag raising ceremony, August 24.
Guided by the principle, โBe True in Integrity, Be True in Kindness, Be a HERO Every Day,โ the school, through Project W.A.T.C.H., coordinated by Melbeth B. Bantiles, MTI, and WATCH Club, led by advisers Ma. Manolette A. Juan (SHS) and Geraldine C. Camayang (JHS), launched Project HERO 5.0, a values formation initiative that promotes honesty, integrity, kindness, and responsible behavior among learners, specifically on recognizing individuals who return lost items.
The event also featured the awarding of winners in the various contests held in celebration of Buwan ng Wika, recognizing students for their outstanding talents, creativity, and appreciation of Filipino language and culture.
In addition, winners in the Cluster Meet and qualifiers to the Santiago City Athletic Association Meet, and Buwan ng Kabataan (BNK) Debate Competition garnering Best Speaker Award were recognized acknowledging their achievements and dedication in representing the school in different sports and academic competitions in the city.
Participants in BNK Inter-school Cheerdance Competition and 8th KAISAKA Debate Tournament were also recognized for their efforts.

PANGKALIGTASANG UGNAYAN PARA SA MAS MAAYOS AT LIGTAS NA PAARALAN
Kahit holiday ngayon, hindi naging hadlang ang araw ng pahinga para sa serbisyo publiko. Taos-pusong pinasasalamatan ng Rizal National High School si Congressman Joseph Salvador Tan
at ang Schools Division Superintendent
(SDS) B. Gumaru Jr.
ng SDO Santiago City sa kanilang personal na pag-iinspeksyon sa mga silid-aralan ng Senior High School bilang paghahanda sa planong pagkukumpuni ng mga pasilidad na nasira bunsod ng mga nagdaang bagyo.
Saklaw ng inspeksyon ang labin limang silid-aralan, kasama ng TVL Food Laboratory at Science Laboratory. Malaki ang magiging ambag ng pagkukumpuning ito sa pagsasaayos ng mga pasilidad na naapektuhan ng bagyo upang muling maging maayos, ligtas, at angkop sa pagkatuto ang mga silid-aralan at laboratoryo para sa mga mag-aaral.
Buong-pusong nagpapasalamat ang pamunuan ng Rizal National High School, sa pangunguna ng ina ng paaralan na si Dr. Eloisa L. Dizon, Principal IV, sa tuloy-tuloy na suporta at malasakit ng mga katuwang ng paaralan.
Ang pagtutulungang ito ay mahalagang hakbang tungo sa ligtas na paaralan, maayos na pasilidad, at mas epektibong pagkatuto para sa buong komunidad ng Rizal National High School.

Building Hope, One Span at a Time
Rizal National High School was chosen as one of the beneficiaries of Project Pag-Asa. A Turnover Ceremony was held for the donated materials and labor cost for the Concrete Fence at the SHS site.
Mr. Justin N. Baker, Project Pag-Asa Founder, and his team were welcomed during lunch by the faculty, SHS students, and the KaLiPi Drum and Lyre through cheers and a performance.
During the short program, Mr. Justin N. Baker shared that their mission focuses on children because poverty often starts at a young age. Sir Hector C. Baldonado, SHS Coordinator, expressed gratitude to Project Pag-Asa and recognized Sir Philip Paul V. Leal for facilitating the project.
Dr. Eloisa L. Dizon, Principal IV, also highlighted the need for a perimeter fence to strengthen the security and safety of learners, particularly in the SHS area, which remains vulnerable to intruders due to its open surroundings.
In her closing remarks, Dr. Dizon,thanked Project Pag-Asa for its commitment to the youth guided by the belief that, "Kabataan ang pag-asa ng bayan."
Indeed, as many expressed, "Nobody can deny that he [Mr. Baker] is a good fellow."
The event concluded with a message of unity and optimism. Truly, when shared, hope becomes something we can all stand behind, one span at a time.
