🧡Beyond the Fabric: The Santiago National High School Identity πŸͺ‘

The Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) is here to give you a quick run-through of the official Santiago NHS Learners' Uniform Guide!

The specified school uniform of SNHS speaks of not only what we wear but the story behind every inch of the cloth. We wear our identity as determined students, disciplined individuals, and a community bound by excellence in everything we do. When we wear our uniform, we do not wear just ourselves; rather, we wear a tradition that we will forever be proud of, values instilled in every stitch of the uniform, and hopes for the future to come.

"Our uniform is the outward symbol of the inner drive that defines an SNHS studentβ€”determined, disciplined, and destined for greatness."

πŸ‡΅πŸ‡ Freedom in Every Corner: 128 Years of Sovereignty🫑

Today, we honor the bravery and sacrifice of those who fought for our freedom. In honor of our nation’s 128th Independence Day, the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) officers have dedicated their efforts to draping our grounds in the vibrant colors of the Philippine flag.

Every time we raise our flag, we are honoring the strength of those who came before us. It is our way of promising that, as young people, we will keep working for a country that is united, free, and proud.
As you walk through campus, look at those colors and remember: the freedom we enjoy today was hard-earned. It is now our turn to take care of it and make sure our country has a bright future.✨

β€œAng kabataan ang pag-asa ng bayan”
- Dr. Jose Rizal

Let us continue to uphold the values of unity, resilience, and patriotism as proud Filipinos. Mabuhay ang Pilipinas!πŸ‡΅πŸ‡

While the welcome banners are already familiar, our orientation process is still actively helping everyone find their true place on our campus. These middle days of introduction are important for moving past surface-level introductions and building deeper connections within our community.

Every workshop, lessons, and discussions is a stepping stone toward making this transition feel completely natural. We want to remind you that finding your footing takes time, so do not hesitate to ask questions or lean on your peers.

Together, we are building a foundation for an uforgettable academic year ahead! πŸ’™

June is the month that aims to raise awareness about the mental health challenges men face.

Too often, men are taught to carry their struggles in silence. The strongest thing a man can do isn't to hold it all inβ€”it’s to speak up. The leading cause in death in young men is themselves. One in every four men struggle with their mental health but don’t reach out for help. They often hesitant to reach out for help because they don’t wanna be seen as weak or less masculine.
Let’s prioritize healing over hiding.

Check your man, because sometimes the strongest member of your family hold the deepest pain. Let’s make it normal that men can aslo have the same attention about mental health problems.

Pride Month isn’t just colors. It’s a promise. Every heart deserves fairness. Every identity deserves respect.

Rainbow month is more than a celebration,it is a recognition of the resilience, courage, and contributions of individuals who have continuously advocated for equality, inclusion, and the freedom to live authentically. It serves as a reminder that every person deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion.

The LGBTQIA+ community has played a significant role in advancing conversations about human rights, acceptance, and diversity. As we observe Pride Month, may we continue to foster understanding, embrace inclusivity, and stand against discrimination, helping create a society where every individual is valued, respected, and empowered to be their true self.
