Even on a Saturday, Hon. Engr. Joseph Salvador Tan personally conducted a site inspection for the construction of additional classrooms together with Audita W. Cambod, EdD, Principal IV, while simultaneously monitoring the ongoing road concretization project at Patul National High School on June 13.

A true hands-on public servant, Bespren Congressman Joseph S. Tan continues to turn commitments into action.

Pansamantala pong hindi makapapasok ang mga four-wheel vehicles sa loob ng Patul NHS, sa kadahilanang kasalukuyan po ang pagsesemento ng daan mula inner gate hanggang flag pole.

Ito po ay bahagi ng proyektong ipinangako ni Hon. Engr. Joseph S. Tan, 4th District of Isabela Representative noong 1st General PTA assembly, June 11. Pinasimulan na po ng ating minamahal na Congressman ang kanyang ipinangakong mas maayos na daanan para sa mga mag-aaral, magulang, at g**o ng PNHS.

Inaasahan po namin ang inyong kooperasyon at pang unawa. Maraming salamat po!

True to his word during the 1st General PTA Assembly of Patul National High School, Hon. Engr. Joseph Salvador Tan, Representative of the 4th District of Isabela, assured parents, learners, and teachers that the rough road in the school from near Administration building to the Flag pole would soon be concretized.

After his speech yesterday, the site was already being measured, and today, June 12, construction officially began with his presence on site!

Patul National High School celebrated a double milestone as Hon. Engr. Joseph Salvador Tan, Representative of the Fourth District of Isabela, officially turned over a new two-storey, four-classroom school building while parents, educators, and stakeholders gathered for the school's First General PTA Assembly, June 11.

The twin events were graced by distinguished local officials led by Hon. Engr. Joseph Salvador Tan, Representative of the 4th District of Isabela, Hon. Atty. Alyssa Sheena P. Tan, CPA, City Mayor of Santiago, and Hon. Jamayne C. Tan, Vice Mayor. Also present were City Councilors Hon. Russel Ponce, Hon. Carlo De Luna, and Hon. Benzi Tan Chai, along with Hon. Erwin B. Albino, Barangay Captain of Patul, SK officials of Patul and Villa Gonzaga, and other community leaders.

Representing the Department of Education SDO Santiago City were Dr. Alfredo B. Gumaru Jr., CESO V, Schools Division Superintendent, and Dr. Leilanie P. Dominia, Education Program Supervisor–SGOD, Menard R. Sibayan, SEPS, together with elementary and secondary school heads from across the division, including former PNHS Principal Dr. Eloisa L. Dizon.

The General PTA Assembly provided an avenue for parents and guardians to be oriented on school policies, child protection, disaster preparedness, academic programs, and parental involvement in learners' education. The event also included the election of PTA officers, strengthening school-home collaboration in support of student success.

Meanwhile, the inauguration and turnover of the new four-classroom building marked another significant step in improving learning facilities for PNHS learners. The new structure is expected to provide a more conducive learning environment and help address the growing educational needs of the school community as 9 classes are currently using the amphitheater as make-shift classrooms.

Led by Dr. Audita W. Cambod, Principal IV, PNHS expressed its heartfelt gratitude to all government officials, education leaders, parents, and stakeholders whose unwavering support continues to pave the way for a brighter future for every learner.

The successful conduct of these two landmark events stands as a testament to what can be achieved through unity, partnership, and a shared vision for educational excellence.

BRIDGING COMMUNITIES, BUILDING FUTURES: New Footbridge Opens Access to Education for Patul Learners

Learners and residents celebrated the inauguration of the newly constructed footbridge connecting Purok 2, Patul and Syphon, Baluarte, a project initiated by the Local Government Unit of Santiago City under the leadership of Hon. Atty. Alyssa Sheena P. Tan, CPA, City Mayor, June 10.

According to Mayor Tan, the project was realized through the request of local barangay officials and serves as an initial infrastructure project of the city government for the community. The footbridge primarily benefits learners of Patul Elementary School and Patul National High School, providing them with safer and easier access to school, especially during the rainy season.

The inauguration was attended by top officials of the Schools Division Office of Santiago City, including Dr. Alfredo B. Gumaru Jr., CESO V, Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Rosalia B. Gutierrez, SGOD Chief, Emerita T. Mawirat, EPS-Math, Elizabeth R. Berdadero, EPS-Filipino, school heads from the West Cluster, Dr. Audita W. Cambod, Principal IV of Patul NHS, barangay officials, SK officials, and community residents.

Students of Patul NHS expressed their gratitude for the project, recalling the challenges of crossing the river and walking long distances whenever floodwaters made the route impassable.

Dr. Gumaru likewise thanked Mayor Tan for helping remove barriers to education, emphasizing that the footbridge is more than a structure, it is a pathway to brighter opportunities and a future where learners no longer have to miss classes because of rising waters.

𝘿𝙚𝙥𝙀𝙙 𝙍2 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙨 𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙩 𝙖𝙩 𝙋𝙉𝙃𝙎

Patul National High School welcomed the monitoring team from the Department of Education Regional Office II on June 10 as part of its efforts to ensure quality learning environments and effective school operations.

During the visit, the team gathered information regarding the school's current conditions, its needs, and other essential facilities. The activity aimed to assess school needs and to provide valuable insights for future support.

The monitoring team for the Schools Division of Santiago City was composed of Juvenal Agustin, Education Program Supervisor and Overall Steward of Santiago City; Tita Ubiña, ADAS II; and Jhoanna Pagulayan, School Administrative Officer. Also present were Dr. Lailanie Domiña, EPS-SGOD and Carlos Mateo, Education Program Supervisor in EPP/TLE.

PNHS is under the leadership of Dr. Audita W. Cambod Principal IV.
