Salettinian Young Leaders Congress (SYLC) is an annual activity spearheaded by the Student Executive Council (SEC), in partnership with the Department of Student Services and Affairs. This is to create an avenue for Salettinian innovation and development regarding servant-leadership.

This year's SYLC denotes an amazing Filipino word "TINDIG" which means stance, posture, or standing in attention, allowing student-leaders to bravely and enthusiastically take part in encouraging positive changes in the society.

The SYLC 15: TINDIG will be on May 19-21, 2023.

Salettinians, we bring to you the Intensification Campaign of the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) on Single-Use Plastics and Styrofoam as an existing policy in our University. This is in line with the Go Green Movement that was launched last year.

Starting April 1, 2023, ALL administrators, employees, students, visitors, food stall owners, and suppliers who enter the University premises shall adhere to this rule wherein the following products ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED:
❌ Plastic bags
❌ Styrofoam/Styrophor
❌ Plastic straws, plastic cups, plastic spoons and forks
❌ Other similar plastic containers/stuff

The copies of the said IRR are already posted to the respective bulletin boards of Local Councils and Sub-Organizations as one way of upholding the value of stewardship, as well as realizing our vision to be reconciled with the nature.

Let us be one in championing discipline, integrity, and solidarity! Let our blue hearts serve for a greener and healthier environment! 💙💚
