CARE IN ACTION: District Nurse Istes Macarubbo Promotes Healthy Learners,Healthy Food Choices

District Nurse Istes Macarubbo led a health assessment of learners and monitored the school canteen to promote healthy habits and proper nutrition at Alucao Elementary School (AES).

The activity was conducted with the support of Public Schools District Supervisor (PSDS) Dr. Reynaldo D. Ronquillo and School Principal Renato G. Acosta, who emphasized the importance of maintaining the health and well-being of every learner.

Macarubbo checked the learners’ health conditions and monitored the school canteen to ensure that food choices available to learners support healthy eating and proper nutrition.

The initiative highlighted the school’s commitment to creating a safe, healthy, and learner-friendly environment where children can learn and grow well.

Through the collaborative efforts of the district nurse, school administrators, and the entire school community, AES continues to strengthen its programs that put learners’ health and welfare first.

Alucao Elementary School is gearing up to welcome the Simultaneous District Patrol Leaders Training Course on August 21–23, 2026, with the strong support and generous assistance of its dedicated parents and SPTA officers, as the school works together to prepare a meaningful training experience that will shape young scouts into responsible, confident, and service-oriented leaders.

FROM LEARNING TO LEADERSHIP: TERESIANO LEARNERS CHAMPION DISCIPLINE,SERVICE

Discipline and service take center stage as Public Schools District Supervisor (PSDS) Reynaldo D. Ronquillo, PhD joins the Alucao Elementary School (AES) community in its flag-raising ceremony today, August 17, 2026, inspiring learners to embody the values of a true Teresiano; disciplined, eager to learn, and ready to serve.

During his message, PSDS Ronquillo emphasized the importance of discipline among learners, saying, “Ang batang Teresiano ay disiplinado.” He encouraged the learners to carry discipline not only inside the classroom but also in their daily lives.

"Enter to learn, go out to serve, " he added.

Meanwhile, School Principal Renato G. Acosta recognized the young journalists who exemplified excellence and dedication during the 2026 District Press Conference. Their participation and achievements were celebrated as a testament to their hard work, perseverance, and passion for campus journalism.

Acosta commended the young journalists for representing Alucao Elementary School with pride and for showcasing their skills in the different journalism events. He emphasized that their experience in the press conference is an important step in developing confident and responsible young communicators.

The recognition also highlighted the support of the coaches, teachers, parents, and school community who continuously guide and encourage the learners in their pursuit of excellence.

The ceremony ended with a renewed reminder for every Teresiano learner to enter school ready to learn, grow with discipline, and go out prepared to serve—living proof that education becomes more meaningful when knowledge is transformed into service.

FROM WORDS TO WINS: ALUCAO ES SHINES AT 2026 DISTRICT PRESSCON

Alucao Elementary School (AES) showcased the talent, confidence, and journalistic skills of its young writers during the District Press Conference held today, August 16, 2026, at Santa Teresita Central School.

The school’s participating learners competed in various journalism categories, demonstrating their skills in news writing, feature writing, editorial writing, copyreading and headline writing, and other areas of campus journalism.

Their participation highlighted the learners’ dedication to honing their communication and writing abilities.

Guided and supported by their coaches, AES campus journalists faced the competition with determination and sportsmanship.

Bayanihan in Action: AES Shines Through Community Effort

Alucao Elementary School continues to shine through the spirit of bayanihan as parents and school stakeholders joined hands to keep the school clean, organized, and a leaner-friendly school environment.

Leading the effort were the SPTA Officers headed by Mr.Dennis Mark Barcena, together with the HPTA Officers from different grade levels and supportive parents who generously shared their time, effort, and resources.
