As stated in Article VII - Section 3 of the revised PIIE COMELEC Standard Election Code, qualifications for candidacy are as follows:

• Must be a bona fide student member of the PIIE;
• Be of good academic standing with 𝗻𝗼 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝟯.𝟬𝟬 𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 of the current school year;
• Be of good moral character; and
• Have not been subjected to any disciplinary sanction.
