In accordance with the Malacañang Memorandum Circular No. 127 and the announcement of the City Government of Santa Rosa, please be informed that face-to-face classes at Holy Rosary College of Sta. Rosa Laguna, Inc. (HRC) are suspended starting 12:00 NOON today, August 17, 2026 (Monday).

Holy Rosary College of Sta. Rosa Laguna, Inc. continues to strengthen its commitment to quality and resilient education through the Seminar-Training-Workshop on “Growing in Resilience: Revisiting School Programs of Learning Continuity, Learning Recovery, and Academic Integrity.”

The seminar-training-workshop highlighted three essential areas in strengthening school programs: Learning Continuity, Learning Recovery, and Academic Integrity—all vital in ensuring that learning remains responsive, meaningful, and sustainable amid emerging challenges.

As part of the activity, the High School Principal, presented HRC’s Academic Integrity Program, showcasing the school’s commitment to cultivating a culture of honesty, responsibility, accountability, and ethical learning among its learners and educators.

Through these initiatives, HRC continues to prepare not only for disruptions but also for the challenges of a rapidly changing educational landscape—ensuring that learning continues, learners recover, and academic achievement is grounded in integrity and character.

Dear HRC Parents, Guardians, and Learners,

In view of Memorandum Circular No. 126 issued by the Office of the President on 14 August 2026, and due to the continuous heavy rainfall associated with the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), classes at all levels in Holy Rosary College of Sta. Rosa Laguna, Inc. are SUSPENDED today, August 14, 2026.

🌧️ Please prioritize your safety. Learners are advised to remain at home and stay updated through the official HRC communication channels for further announcements.

For learning continuity, teachers will provide appropriate alternative learning activities and necessary instructions through MS Teams starting at 1pm.

🚨 SCHOOL CRISIS MANAGEMENT BRIEFING AND CAPACITY BUILDING🚨

Preparedness saves lives. Knowledge builds confidence. A united school community creates safer schools.

On August 12, 2026, Holy Rosary College of Sta. Rosa Laguna, Inc. conducted a School Crisis Management Briefing and Capacity Building for its teaching and non-teaching personnel at the HRC Gymnasium.

The activity focused on strengthening the school community’s preparedness, awareness, and response capabilities in dealing with bomb threats, active shooting incidents, hostage situations, and other critical school emergencies.

Through this capacity-building initiative, our personnel were equipped with essential knowledge and practical guidance to respond calmly, appropriately, and effectively when faced with crisis situations. More importantly, the activity reinforced our shared responsibility to protect lives and promote a culture of safety, preparedness, vigilance, and resilience.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the resource persons from the PNP Santa Rosa Component City Police Station and the Provincial explosive Ordnance Disposal and Canine - Lagunaand everyone who shared their expertise, time, and commitment in making this important initiative possible. Your contribution strengthens our collective ability to safeguard our learners and the entire Rosarian community.

Important Reminders:

Elementary (Intermediate Levels, Grades 4–6): Please stand by for further announcements regarding the resumption of examinations.

High School: All scheduled asynchronous classes from August 10–14, 2026 will be conducted in person as scheduled.

Parents and students are advised to regularly check MS Teams, official class group chats, and other school communication channels for announcements, learning activities, and instructions from their teachers.

Last July 30, 2026, our classrooms came alive with a simple yet meaningful Nutrition Month Celebration, where students enjoyed engaging classroom activities and a joyful salu-salo lunch, highlighting the importance of proper nutrition, friendship, and gratitude.

As we celebrate the 52nd Nutrition Month, we join the nation in embracing this year's theme: "Sa PPAN: Sama-Sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat!" 2026 Sub-theme:"Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan!"

Together, let us continue to promote healthy eating habits while caring for our environment, because good nutrition and a healthy planet go hand in hand.

At Holy Rosary College of Sta Rosa Laguna, Inc., the safety and well-being of our learners, teachers, and personnel remain our top priority.
