A RESOLUTION PROCLAIMING THE NEWLY ELECTED OFFICERS OF THE STUDENT COUNCIL OF POLYTECHNIC UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES โ€“ SANTA ROSA CAMPUS FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2026 โ€“ 2027

The Commission on Elections of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines โ€“ Santa Rosa Campus officially proclaims the newly elected Student Council officers for Academic Year 2026-2027 following the Student Council Election conducted from August 3 to August 6, 2026. The canvassed results declare Kiara Nicole Belda as Executive President, leading the incoming set of executive officers and councilors after successfully meeting all voting requirements and electoral standards.

Vacant positions, including the Secretary-General, will be addressed through constitutional measures by the incoming Executive President. Copies of this will be transmitted to the Office of the Campus Director, the Office of Student Services, and relevant administrative bodies for official record.

A RESOLUTION RESCHEDULING THE FACE-TO-FACE CANVASSING, TALLYING, AND VERIFICATION OF THE STUDENT COUNCIL ELECTION (SCE) 2026 RESULTS DUE TO THE SUSPENSION OF CLASSES AND TO ENSURE COMPLIANCE WITH THE COMELEC PUP-SRC IMPLEMENTING RULES AND REGULATIONS

The Commission on Elections of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines - Santa Rosa Campus (COMELEC PUP-SRC) formally declares through this resolution that following the conclusion of the voting period on August 6, 2026, the mandatory face-to-face canvassing of results is temporarily postponed due to the provincial suspension of classes.

This ensures strict compliance with electoral regulations requiring the physical presence of Commissioners and credentialed Poll Watchers to guarantee absolute transparency. Additionally, the resolution includes the official list of these credentialed Poll Watchers required to attend the proceedings. All generated electronic results will also remain securely closed and untouched during this period to protect election data. The validity of all casted votes is fully preserved, and the official tallying process will be rescheduled and announced once regular onsite university operations resume.
