It’s time to put a different mask on!

The MassKara Festival was born from a struggling city’s call to rise. In the 1980s, Bacolod City was facing a tumultuous time, spurring its locals to uplift each other’s spirits in order to survive the challenges and tragedies of the era. A tenacious people, their call to resilience continues today, “Kari sa Bacolod, Dala sang Maskara!” (Come to Bacolod, bring a Mask!).

Together with the Department of Foreign Affairs, Republic of the Philippines, join us in the virtual celebration of the 2021 Masskara Festival of Bacolod City!
