SG Half Marathon equipment review:
Singlet from Mizuno
Compression tights from Nike
Shoes KD800 from Decathlon
Messenger bag from Decathlon
Portable hydration bottle Soft Flask 250mL from Decathlon
Earpods from JBL
Petroleum Jelly
Loperamide Diatabs from Unilab
Socks Kiprun from Decathlon
I usually run by myself because I know my pace based on my training. Currently I'm ranging from 8:30-10:00 min/km and that mean a lot of brisk walking and shorter cadence running.
I intended to use compression so that I can endure the physical demand of my lower limbs. Took 2 energy gels (1 in Km5 then another on Km18). With the continuous rain (race review will be on next post), the Decathlon's Kiprun KD800 and socks wicked the water from the rain and sweat effectively that I didn't suffer blisters throughout the race. And my reliable 2 tablets of Diatabs and Petroleum Jelly to avoid unwanted chaffing.
