PUBLIC ADVISORY: UPDATE ON INTERNATIONAL TOUR & ENGAGEMENTS

Los Cantantes de Manila regrets to inform our beloved family, friends, sponsors, and supporters that our scheduled European tour this August—including our participation in the 2026 Concorso Polifonico Internazionale Guido d’Arezzo in Italy—has been officially cancelled.

Despite our utmost commitment, our delegation faced extreme difficulties in securing visas. Consequently, the remaining processing window time is no longer sufficient prior to our scheduled departure. It is with heavy hearts that we make this difficult decision after months of intense preparation and dedication from our singers.

While we share in this disappointment, we are pleased to reassure everyone that our South Korea tour will push through. Los Cantantes de Manila will represent the country at the Incheon International Choral Festival this coming September 2026.

Looking ahead, this setback only strengthens the choir’s resolve. We are already actively planning our return to the international competition circuit soon, ensuring that the music we have prepared will soon reach global audiences as intended.

We extend our deepest gratitude to our sponsors, partners, and community for your unconditional love, understanding, and continued patronage. Your unwavering support fuels our passion to share Filipino choral music on the international stage.

About Los Cantantes de Manila
Founded in 2014 under the direction of Darwin Vargas, Los Cantantes de Manila is a multi-awarded Filipino community choir composed of students, young professionals, and musicians. They have brought honor to the Philippines by winning top prizes in prestigious international competitions across Europe and Asia—including Italy, Hungary, Germany, Spain, South Korea, and Russia. Known for their versatility, they perform a wide repertoire ranging from classical sacred works to Filipino folk and contemporary music. Their artistry and passion have earned them recognition as cultural ambassadors of Philippine choral excellence.

As the closing highlight of our 85th Anniversary, let us make this special evening truly memorable in fellowship, faith, and the gift of music.
