On September 14, 2026, Pangasinan State University–Sta. Maria Campus, through the College of Teacher Education, facilitated the 𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐲 (𝐅𝐒) 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 to the selected elementary and secondary schools under the Schools Division Office of Pangasinan II. The activity was led by 𝐌𝐫. 𝐑𝐞𝐲 𝐏. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐳, 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫, together with 𝐌𝐫. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐉𝐚𝐲𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐌. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢ñ𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐫. 𝐄𝐦𝐢𝐥 𝐁. 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐨, 𝐅𝐒 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬.

The team coordinated with the Schools Division Office and concerned partner schools to ensure the proper endorsement and placement of FS students for their experiential learning activities. The deployment formally provided the students with opportunities to observe actual classroom practices, interact with teachers and learners, and gain firsthand experiences that complement their academic preparation.

The activity underscored the strong partnership between Pangasinan State University–Sta. Maria Campus and SDO Pangasinan II in providing meaningful field-based experiences that strengthen the professional preparation and competencies of future educators.

Selected faculty members of Pangasinan State University - Sta. Maria Campus visited the Schools Division Office (SDO) of Pangasinan II on Thursday, September 3, 2026, to follow up and secure the official indorsement letter for the upcoming Field Study deployment.

𝐌𝐫. 𝐑𝐞𝐲 𝐏. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐳, Practice Teaching Coordinator, led the visit alongside Field Study Mentors 𝐌𝐫. 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐞 𝐓. 𝐑𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐬 and 𝐌𝐬. 𝐉𝐨𝐚𝐧𝐧 𝐑𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐌. 𝐆𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐳.

The indorsement letter serves as the final document to authorize and enabling the official placement of Field Study students across partner elementary and secondary schools. By securing this clearance, the delegation completed a vital phase in student preparation, ensuring that the experiential learning program proceeds on schedule.

The successful visit highlights the effective coordination between the University and SDO Pangasinan II.

Pangasinan State University - Sta. Maria Campus formally turned over the required documents and credentials for the upcoming Field Study deployment to the Schools Division Office (SDO) of Pangasinan II on Tuesday, August 25, 2026.

The delegation was led by 𝐌𝐬. 𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝐁. 𝐆𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐚 (Dean of Students and Alumni Affairs), 𝐌𝐫. 𝐑𝐞𝐲 𝐏. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐳 (Teaching Internship Coordinator), and 𝐌𝐫. 𝐄𝐦𝐢𝐥 𝐁. 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐨 (Field Study Mentor).

The official visit finalized the necessary coordination and documentation to secure formal processing and approval for pre-service teachers entering host elementary and secondary schools. By establishing early operational alignment with SDO Pangasinan II, the university ensures its Field Study candidates can seamlessly transition into their required experiential learning and clinical classroom environments.

The successful engagement reinforces the strong educational partnership between the university and SDO Pangasinan II, demonstrating a shared commitment to providing future educators with structured, high-quality field experiences.

A total of 143 student teachers of Pangasinan State University Sta. Maria Campus formally concluded their teaching internship journey during the Exit Conference 2026 at the Sen. Leticia Ramos Shahani Convention Hall on May 19.
Anchored on the theme, “Future Teachers in the Modern Generation: Adapting through Innovation and AI,” the event highlighted the experiences, growth, and achievements of the practice teachers as they completed their field study and internship requirements.
Quality Assurance Coordinator Kristine V. De Guzman led the recitation of Educational Organizations Organization System (EOMS Policy to open the program.
Following the recitation, welcome remarks came from Mr. Mike T. Dumanay, Chairperson of the Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education (BTLEd) Department, who recognized the dedication and perseverance of the student teachers throughout their practice teaching journey.
Inspirational messages were delivered by Dr. Walter C. Nocasa, Chairperson of the Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd) Department, and Dr. Marlon L. Perado, Dean of the College of Teacher Education.
In his message, Perado expressed high hopes that the graduating student teachers would become topnotchers in the March 2027 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT), urging them to continue striving for excellence and innovation in the teaching profession.
“Do not go to a battle unprepared,” Perado emphasized as he encouraged the future educators to prepare diligently for the licensure examination and their future teaching careers.
Following the messages, the awarding of certificates was conducted to recognize the successful completion of the student teachers’ internship program.
Representing the student teachers, Student-Teacher Awardees (STA) Ms. Melody W. Callorina of the BTLEd Department and Ms. Mary Honey Ville I. Casabar of the Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd) English Department delivered their words of gratitude, expressing appreciation to the faculty members, cooperating schools, mentors, families, and fellow interns who became part of their journey.
An intermission performance by Ms. Leah Jem C. Dela Cruz, BSEd English practice teacher, added entertainment to the event through singing.
Additional messages of gratitude were also delivered by Ms. Alexia Lee M. Alquiza, BSEd Mathematics practice teacher and STA 2026 for secondary level and Mr. John Rey S. Lopez STA 2026 for the elementary level, where they reflected on the challenges and memorable experiences they encountered during the search for the award.
The student teachers then rendered a heartfelt song of appreciation dedicated to their mentors and supporters.
Meanwhile, Ms. Anabelle L. Caser, Chairperson of the BSEd Department, delivered the closing remarks, reminding the future educators about the door of opportunities as they enter the teaching profession.
An orientation for the LET Review followed after the program spearheaded by Cassandra Q. Lasquite and Myra A. Magarro, who recently passed the March 2026 LET, in preparation for the students’ upcoming licensure examination.

Joining them were two faculty members to visit Universitas Terbuka in Banten province.
The Pre-Service Student Teacher Exchange in Southeast Asia (SEA-Teacher Project) Batch 11 is an initiative by the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO), that gives opportunities for pre-service teachers to learn and gain global classroom experiences and to build cross-cultural understanding and competencies in the South East Asian region.

Meanwhile, John Ray S. Lopez was declared as the STA 2026 for the BEED due to only participant in his respective department.
