YESS Organization | Anti-Corruption Seminar
The YESS Organization continues to uphold its commitment to principled and responsible leadership as Shereen Falcatan, Grade 8 Sergeant-at-Arms, and Triana Tablang, External Vice President, attended the Anti-Corruption Seminar led by SBM ATTY. LYRA JOY BARROGA. The seminar highlighted that corruption is not merely a political issue, but a fundamental failure of governance, as emphasized in the 1987 Philippine Constitution.
As youth and student leaders, we are not spectators in governance. We are called to actively participate, to stand firm against corruption, and to uphold integrity at all levels—especially in the smallest actions. The values and habits we form today will shape the kind of leaders we become in the future. No one is above the law, and good governance begins with good people.
The seminar emphasized the importance of integrity in character, the courage to speak up when silence feels safer, vigilance in asking questions, and bravery in demanding accountability. Corruption grows when it is tolerated, which is why the youth must refuse to be consumed by the system and instead maintain their identity and integrity.
No matter how young we are, we can create change. Through YESS, we turn advocacy into action by leading with transparency, demanding accountability in the use of funds, participating in decision-making processes, and speaking out for what is right. This seminar serves as a reminder that the youth play a vital role in building a just, accountable, and corruption-free society.

Great leaders don’t seek attention—they inspire action.
True leadership begins with courage, compassion, and unity. It’s not about authority, but about purpose. A true leader stands firm with integrity, leads with accountability, and serves with a heart full of dedication and empathy.
The Young Earth Savers Society – LHS actively participated in the Strategic Planning and Team Building 2025, an event that strengthened the bond among members and deepened their understanding of what it truly means to lead and to serve. Through this activity, each participant discovered that leadership is not just a position—it is a responsibility and a continuous journey of growth and learning.
The day was filled with reflection, collaboration, and inspiration. Lessons on transformational leadership, inclusivity, and intellectual stimulation encouraged everyone to think beyond themselves and work together toward a shared vision. Every discussion, activity, and moment reminded the young leaders that passion, determination, and faith are the foundations of meaningful leadership.
As the future stewards of the Earth, the members of YESS – LHS are igniting their own flame of purpose—ready to lead with empathy, act with integrity, and serve with compassion. 🌱💚

♻️ CLEAN TECH EXHIBIT 2025 ♻️
“Innovation with purpose, sustainability in action.” 🌍💡
The YESS Organization (Young Earth Savers Society) proudly led the creation and preparation of the inventions for this year’s Clean Tech Exhibit 2025, where each grade level — from Grade 7 to Grade 12 — showcased their creativity, teamwork, and environmental awareness through unique, sustainable innovations. 🌱✨
Under the guidance and leadership of YESS officers and members, every grade worked hard to design inventions made entirely from recycled, upcycled, and repurposed materials. From plastic bottles and scrap metals to old electronics and cardboard, students proved that waste can be turned into something wonderful and useful when paired with imagination and collaboration. 🔧💚
The process was filled with teamwork, excitement, and learning. Each group planned, built, and refined their inventions with dedication, while YESS ensured that every step followed the theme — innovation with purpose, sustainability in action. Whether it was a simple household solution or a complex eco-friendly design, every invention carried the same mission: to help protect and preserve our environment. 🌍♻️
Through the leadership of the YESS Organization, the Clean Tech Exhibit became more than just a competition — it became a movement of young innovators, each contributing to a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future. 🌿💫

In a world full of choices, let’s choose what’s right for our planet. Throwing waste properly may seem like a small act, but it carries a big impact. Every piece of trash placed in the right bin is a step closer to cleaner streets, greener communities, and a brighter future. We are the youth, the voice of tomorrow—if we start the change today, others will follow. Together, let’s turn responsibility into action, and action into transformation. A cleaner environment is not just a dream, it is a promise we can keep—one throw at a time. 🌍💚
Panangukom ti basura, panangsalaknib iti daga. 🍃
“BY KNOWING WHERE TO PUT WASTE IN THE RIGHT BIN, WE CAN MAKE OUR ENVIRONMENT BETTER.”
