The activity was facilitated by the Computing Society of the Philippines - ISPSC Santa Maria Officers, the student organization of the College of Computing Studies, who assisted and guided the participants throughout the event under the leadership and supervision of the CCS faculty.

This collaboration reflects the commitment of CCS and CSP to service, leadership, and active support for educational activities in the community.

Last September 8, 2026, the faculty members of the College of Computing Studies (CCS) were invited by the Local Government Unit of Santa Maria, Ilocos Sur to serve as resource speakers during the 3rd Legislative Week, with the theme โ€œEmpowering Barangay Governments: Filing and Excel Training.โ€

The seminar was conducted for Barangay Secretaries and Treasurers, focusing on practical skills in proper digital filing and the effective use of Microsoft Excel to support more organized, efficient, and technology-driven barangay operations.

CCS is grateful for the opportunity to share knowledge and contribute to strengthening the digital capabilities of our local communities.
