STRENGTHENING SCHOOL–POLICE PARTNERSHIP FOR A SAFER SCHOOL COMMUNITY

Basiawan Central Elementary School warmly welcomed PLTCOL EXZUR B. RELATADO, Force Commander of the 1st Davao Occidental Provincial Mobile Force Company, together with two of his personnel, for a coordination meeting focused on strengthening anti-criminality awareness and school safety initiatives.

The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the latest safety concerns affecting schools and explore ways to further strengthen preventive measures and awareness among our learners, teachers, and stakeholders.

The 1st Davao Occidental PMFC also expressed their commitment to provide additional assistance beyond their daily visible presence and deployment in the school, including participation in school-based activities, awareness campaigns, and other programs that promote safety, security, and the well-being of our school community.

Together, we build a safer, more secure, and more supportive learning environment for every child.

Our sincere appreciation to PLTCOL Exzur B. Relatado and the personnel of the 1st Davao Occidental PMFC for their continued support and partnership with Basiawan Central Elementary School.

TURNING PAPER WASTE INTO PURPOSE!

Basiawan Central Elementary School proudly flexes its Paper Ball Initiative/Project—a simple yet meaningful school project that transforms used paper into something useful, sustainable, and income-generating.
Instead of letting discarded papers end up in the trash, our teachers and learners collect, reuse, and transform them into handcrafted paper balls.

Through this initiative, we are not only reducing paper waste but also teaching our learners the value of responsible consumption, creativity, environmental stewardship, and resourcefulness.

BCES Conducts School Lockdown Drill

Basiawan Central Elementary School conducted a School Lockdown Drill to strengthen the preparedness of learners and school personnel in responding to emergency situations.

The drill allowed everyone to practice safety protocols, stay calm, and respond appropriately during a simulated emergency.

Through continuous drills and preparedness activities, BCES remains committed to keeping its school community safe and ready.

Banal na Misa at Pagbabasbas, Isinagawa sa BCES

BASIAWAN CENTRAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL — Isinagawa ngayong araw sa BCES ang Banal na Misa at pagbabasbas ng mga silid-aralan at tanggapan na pinangunahan ni Rev. Fr. Judito “Jude” Tampon, DCD.

Dinaluhan ito ng mga mag-aaral mula baitang 3 hanggang 6, g**o at kawani ng paaralan bilang bahagi ng opisyal na pagbubukas ng Religious Instruction Program.

Sa kanyang homiliya, hinikayat ni Rev. Fr. Jude ang mga mag-aaral na tularan si Haring Solomon, na humingi sa Diyos ng karunungan upang magampanan nang maayos ang kanyang tungkulin. Binigyang-diin niya na tulad ni Solomon, dapat hangarin ng mga mag-aaral ang karunungan upang maging gabay sa kanilang pag-aaral, pagpapasya, at pakikitungo sa kapwa.

Matapos ang Misa, isinagawa ni Rev. Fr. Jude ang pagbabasbas sa bawat silid-aralan at tanggapan, bilang panalangin para sa patuloy na paggabay at pagpapala sa buong pamayanan ng paaralan.

Taos-pusong nagpapasalamat ang BCES sa pagkakataong mapalalim ang pananampalataya ng buong pamayanan ng paaralan at sa paggabay ni Rev. Fr. Jude sa makabuluhang gawaing ito.
