To foster a strong partnership between the school and parents in promoting learners' success, Parents' Orientation and Homeroom PTA Election was successfully conducted during the opening block.

Key matters discussed during the orientation included the class schedule, classroom rules and expectations, the Three-Term School Calendar, grading system, and the guidelines for recognition and awarding of learners. Parents were also given the opportunity to raise concerns and clarify important school policies and programs.

As part of the activity, the Homeroom PTA Election was conducted to select parent officers who will serve as partners of the school in implementing programs and activities that will benefit the learners and the school community.

DepEd Tayo- Perez Elementary School sincerely thanks all parents and guardians for their active participation and unwavering support. Together, we can build a nurturing, collaborative, and learner-centered environment for every child.

As part of DepEd Tayo- Perez Elementary School's health and nutrition program, Body Mass Index (BMI) Assessment was conducted among learners during the opening block.

This activity aims to monitor the nutritional status of learners and gather essential data that will help the school plan and implement appropriate health and nutrition interventions. Through regular assessment and monitoring, the school remains committed to promoting the well-being and healthy development of every learner.

Together, let us support our learners in achieving a healthy mind and a healthy body for better learning outcomes.

As part of the DepEd Tayo- Perez Elementary School's commitment to improving learners' literacy and numeracy skills, the Comprehensive Rapid Literacy Assessment (CRLA), Philippine Informal Reading Inventory (Phil-IRI), and Rapid Mathematics Assessment (RMA) were administered during the Opening Block.

These assessments aim to determine learners' current reading and mathematics proficiency levels, providing valuable data that will guide teachers in delivering appropriate interventions and support to meet learners' needs.

Together, let us continue working towards ensuring that every learner receives the quality education they deserve.

DepEd Tayo- Perez Elementary School led by Ma'am Sheila Marie DR. De Silva, Principal I, successfully conducted a School Learning Action Cell (SLAC) on DepEd Order No. 015, S. 16-Revised Guidelines on Classroom Assessment, Grading System, and Awards and Recognition for the K to 12 Basic Education Program to orient and capacitate teachers on the salient features, updates, and implication of the revised policy in classroom assessment and learner evaluation. This activity was attended by all teaching personnel.
