📢 PROJECT L.O.U.D. 2025 🌱
(Learning Opportunities and Understanding Disaster Preparedness)
Our student leaders proudly represented our school in the 3-day division-wide seminar held at Westwood, Brgy. Care, San Jose, Tarlac. Organized by the Schools Division Office of Tarlac Province. The event aimed to empower young leaders in disaster preparedness, climate action, and safety awareness.
They learned from experts like Mr. James Rory Grecia, Atty. Gabrielle Kenth Hayashi, Mr. Jerome Valete, Mr. Marvin Guiang, Mr. Angelo Simbulan, Ms. Eliza Faye Baldevarona, Ms. Lani Juianne Puri, and Mr. Renz Razon, all of whom shared valuable lessons on leadership, resilience, and youth participation during emergencies.
The experience taught them that preparedness goes beyond having a plan it's about being responsible, alert, and working together. Throughout the seminar, they gained valuable knowledge in road safety, climate action, disaster response, and how to be effective and compassionate leaders in times of crisis. These insights have strengthened their ability to guide and protect their school communities. More than just learning, the seminar became a space for connection. It gave our learners the opportunity to bond with fellow Cluster 1 student leaders building friendships, exchanging ideas, and growing together as a united, empowered youth community ready to face challenges head-on.
Representing our school with heart and dedication were:
Harold Lacaden – SSLG President
Heart Abigail Festin – YES-O President
Harvey Ibe – BKB President
Kris Gragasin – BSP President
John Paul Velasco – BERT President
And With the guidance of Mr. Christian Bonne Marimla, BERT Adviser.
"We don’t wait for disasters to act we lead before they strike."
Through Project L.O.U.D., we learned that safety, leadership, and climate responsibility begin with us. As student leaders, we carry the tools to protect, empower, and inspire our fellow youth.”
