PUBLIC ADVISORY

The scheduled School Safety Drill tomorrow, August 25, 2026, is postponed to September 3, 2026. This is due to the cancellation of face to face classes in several areas in the country due to inclement weather. This is a nationwide cancellation.

We urge all public and private schools to immediately inform their partners (DILG, AFP. PNP, BFP, other government agencies and partner private organizations).

We will keep you posted for the developments.

ASTORGA, Santa Cruz - The Santa Cruz North District officially opened the 2026 Santa Cruz North District Athletic Association (SCANDAA) Meet on July 25, 2026 bringing together student athletes, coaches, school heads and technical officials in a celebration of sportsmanship, unity and excellence.

The ceremony highlighted by the entrance of the Friendship Flame and lighting of the athletic urn by Santa Cruz North’s DAVRAA Medalist. Athletes, coaches, and officiating officials also took their respective oaths, reaffirming their commitment to fair play and sportsmanship.

In her message, Dr. Hazel V. Luna, Public Schools District Supervisor,emphasized that discipline is the most important quality every athlete should possess, reminding participants that success is built through commitment, respect, and self-discipline.

The program concluded with Dr. Hazel V. Luna officially declaring the 2026 SCNDAA Meet open, marking the start of a whole day of competition where student athletes will showcase their skills, discipline and teamwork.
